Eidos have produced some of the greatest titles in the history of gaming. I haven`t played Deus Ex but the other titles are testimony to its greatness

I got the 720p trailer just now. 1080p seems to be broken. I was never a fan of CGI trailers.... but dayummmm, that was just amazing!

I REALLY hope its everything the first game was, and then build upon that. Invisible Wars was pretty meh in comparison. Pleasedontmessupthisfranchise!!!

Edit: Interesting read about what to expect from the game.

• Choice and consequence is at the heart of the Deus Ex 3 experience. So, yes, we want players to make choices that will affect some outcomes (story-wise and gameplay-wise).
• Open-ended gameplay allows the player to take advantage of multipath/multi-solutions to accomplish their objectives and explore the game world for side quests, hidden treasures, etc. Some RPG dialogs will be mandatory but most will be available to players in an optional form.
• There will be areas of levels that are only accessible if you have certain augmentations and these areas will have bonus weapons, ammo, story info, etc
• And for things like exploration, there are more subtle augmentation upgrades which will allow you see things and access parts of the level previously unknown...
• So, yes, I think Deus Ex: Human Revolution is going to encompass the aspects that the first DX pioneered through a very strong and intriguing narrative. For us, Deus Ex: Human Revolution is not about a set of features but about an immersive experience that should feel like reading a great graphic novel.
• Our cover system should feel similar to the one found in Rainbow Six Vegas for those who are familiar with it, albeit we pushed it a bit further.
• Deus Ex: Human revolution is going to stay true to the original game on many levels and of course we’re coming up with new gameplay possibilities, reinforcing the choice and consequence aspect, and introducing a brand new cast of characters and storylines that will expand the experience for a new generation of gamers and old fans alike. (Oh boy... please don't end up like Conviction )
• The first game is definitely our inspiration more so than Invisible War so on that note, we are going back to an inventory system similar to Deus Ex 1 and getting rid of universal ammo which Invisible War had. (Thats what I wanted to hear...nice)
• If you're more of the "invisible" type of agent, you might want to explore around the building and look for some locked doors that need to be hacked to get in or you might find a roof access through the air duck system. If that's not enough, you might find some nearby sewer system that might just lead you straight to the Police station's morgue. Even though not all missions have that many options, all missions have few options and depending on how you customize your character, some options might not be possible.

Deus Ex has been my favorite WRPG ever. 2 was not near the same greatness, but was enjoyable. I'm really hoping 3 tops the original - that'll automatically make it the GOTY for me.
