Link DOT NET__ Should I go for it?

Ok Guys so I had been using PTCL for years but their customer service sucks completely . I used to complain to them and after even months they couldnt solve an issue. In fact half of the issues were solved by me through tukka. The DSL used to drop and if I tell you all the reasons it will take an hour to write . Anyhow I switched to Wateen and it is good to, doesnt drop but I am not half satisfied with it. And if in the future I would like to switch to a good DSL service, which should it be. I have heard link dot net is good and its customer support is good as well. So guys give me your opinions. If possible give me another good ISP (except PTCL of course <_<).

As long as your phone line is proper, any DSL should work.

as for LDN itself, im using it and i have no problems.

Is the speed good. And by phone line you mean wiring or noise level?

the lesser the distance from the local exchange, the better is the speed, and ofcourse considering the condition of the phone wire, im usin it too, its pretty good

well i too am using LDN and its pretty ok...i mean, the browsing speed is gud and the download speed is also sufficient...the plus point is that it is VERY feasible compared to other connections (student packages) and there customer sevice is also gud...but there some drawbacks....like my phone line is pretty old and so there tends to be some noise in it, due to which, the DSL disconnects and re-connects quite frequently the whole day...and i dunno why, but my connection doesnt support torrent downloads....and the technical guy at LDN said that we dont gaurantee abt torrents working or not...so pretty low downloading for me at the moment....

The thing i like about ldn is the stability of downloading speed you get, the dl speed would be 110-120kpbs no matter what time of the day, until the dl server of the site/torrent is giving gud speed. I have been using it for abt a year n there have been no disconection issues.

Well except for the speed fluctuation I get on dl speed its all good. I haven't seen a single disconnection unless the router requires a restart or something. But nothing from the ldn side.

LINK DOT NET SUCKS BROTHER .I PREVIOUSLY USED LINK DOT NET BUT IT HAD MANY PROBLEMS EG:

browsing was stopped for sometime,the dsl light on the moden stopped working......

so in my oppinion link dot net sucksssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Get Either PTCL or LDN. Both are nearly the same, but LDNs Customer Service is better than PTCLs. But PTCL offer more consistent speed...

Stuff that will make you mad are WIRES, Local exchanges, Lineman, Help lines.....ufff

Why wateen ?

no disconnections as you mentioned in your post

and the best with wateen is you don't need to waste your precious time for making calls to help line.

I have very bad experience with LDN and PTCL. both will use our telephone exchanges, and shitty wires for there connections. which are already ruined with weather . without giving rishwat you will do nothing with your PTCL stuff..

@manhunt I ll say. Wateen has good wimax service and good download speeds. I can use 3 computers with wifi and still get hi speed internet. It also has good download speeds. PTCL sucks the most and 75% people I know opt for LDN. THe only reason I was thinking of switching was that in wif you dont get full download speeds. But when I connect through ethernet it works like a charm. But the problem is that I only get full signals upstairs and I dont wanna go there everytime I wanna use the net. Anyhow I have complained to Wateen customer support and Inshahallah they will fix the prob. Thanks to allfor helping me out
