[h=1]Mighty No. 9 Officially Coming to PS4 and Xbox One[/h]
Mighty No. 9 has managed to reach one of its highly demanded stretch goals of its campaign — next-generation platforms. The new game from Keiji Inafune is now officially coming to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, hitting the $3.3 million stretch goal when combining both Paypal and Kickstarter pledge amounts.
With less than 22 hours left, the developers are looking to reach a couple more goals before the Kickstarter ends. Goals yet to be reached include PS Vita and 3DS versions at $3.5 million and a new single player stage/boss fight as the game's heroine, Call, for $3.7 million. Backers can increase their pledges by ordering a physical copy of the title if they wish to do so.
The developers have also announced that Mighty No. 9 will be created using Unreal Engine 3. A short engine test video was released, showing what Inti Creates managed to put together in seven days. The creators note that the video is using placeholder assets and animation. The final game will not look like this but it gives an idea on what can be accomplished in just a week's time of development
Recently, it was announced that the composer of Mega Man 2 will join the development team.
The title is now confirmed for PC, Mac, Linux, PlayStation 3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Wii U.
