MULTI Is GTA 5 Sexist?

I'm curious what Pakistan's biggest gaming forum thinks about it. So, what do you think?

Violence ruin game play ? Please it is the violence that made GTA 5 to break records of all industries
And lets not forget,who hasn't went to the club in the previous GTA series

The fact that GTA V is only available on consoles, that means the masses playing the game are kids. Let the game come to Mature PC Gamers and you will get your answer in much better context.

The real sexist game is Tomb Raider not GTA. Haven't we all been waiting for a Tomb Raider game with a male protagonist for ages :laugh1:? Why cant Lara Croft be male? The media will call you sexist if you like a female character in tomb raider and it will also call you sexist if there is no female lead character in GTA, there is no way out.

PS. Violence, Racism, Sexism has always been the whole point of the GTA series. If someone bought the game expecting something else, the problem is with his expectations not with the game.

On topic: It's really arguable, this topic. I actually have had mixed reactions over the issue. I do believe that games do not have to touch such depths so that games can land that slant which allow gamers to be able to enjoy them with family and not just 'friends'. At the same time, though, Rockstars played its part by getting the Mature rating for the game and coupling it with all those necessary 'high nudity ', 'extreme violence' labels on the game casing.

That is the point I am trying to make. The presence of a female lead would not make GTA any less 'distasteful' to someone who is offended by it. The gender of the main character does not determine if the game is sexist or not.

Yea that's me alright. I leaked the GTA V PC Release Date before any other website and the fact that GTA V is most expensive video game (my timestamps would prove that) You already know my opinion lol.....

I'd rather we discuss if this track is sexist or not, the lyrics might make you think it is (and could very well be), but the fact that it starts off with: "We're not recording right now are we we?" "Yeah" makes me think otherwise on top of that it's a hardcore punk band doing a very '80s song.

The extensive misogynist theme of the game is one reason it hasn't fared as well with many critics as GTA IV. Despite having all the ingredients which should make it better than the latter.

All GTA games have been sexist in one way or another. But this recent addition to the franchise seems to have outdone its predecessors by quite some margin.
