Does anyone know someone who can cook protein heavy meals for me in Karachi? Diet is super important, and the hospital canteen can't always be relied on. I live near Mosamiyat if that matter. Any and all help would be appreciated.

I have protein powder, but thats like 32g a day. I would prefer to get as much "normal" food as possible without substituting every meal in my life with whey.

Congrats..
Can tou share whats your diet plan is? Since i've been working out on fitness
Nothing special. I have research a lot on this area and came up that I can't handle these small or what they call healthy alternatives meals. Like replacing white bread with brown bread I know its good but I don't like the taste of it. Plus having many eggs or boiled chicken. Its just plain taste, I want little spice or flavourings.

I eat almost everything but that too under my calorie limit.

Here is my plan:

Morning:
1. Bread with Margarine Spread + Tea
2. Paratha + Omelet + Tea (On days when I know I have to workout more.)
3. Anything in my normal morning breakfast.

Since I started this workout thing my mother keep saying now you don't eat the food I cook so it get wasted. So I thought to eat that but in moderation
But I stay away from from meat food like qorma, salaan (which I don't like) etc. You get my point.

Lunch/Dinner:
1. Variety of Vege salads with Dressing
2. Raw Fruit Salad
3. Steaks
4. Tikka
5. Two Pieces of Pizza (Like once or twice in a month)
6. Home cooked food chicken varieties, mix vegies, lentils etc. you get the point.

Thats all which I can remember for now.

And yeah one thing I almost forgot protein bars when working out.

If you have any other questions feel free to ask.

As I told you if you eat in your daily calorie limit you won't gain weight. Also I'm not using tablespoons of ghee to make paratha just like a teaspoon or so. Moreover when I have heavy breakfast I don't have lunch that day just salad and then straight to dinner. Dinner is light maybe a smoothie or half roti with 2 tsp of peanut butter OR what mother cooked that I eat that in moderation. Thats all.

You do one thing PM your

1)height in cms,

2)your weight in kilos,

3)how many days you workout per week

and how much you won't to loose?

I will try to get list of foods that you can eat.

Exactly... the thing is you pushed your body in sports to burn the stored fat rather then accumulating more fat.

Okay guys I have a community gym that I am thinking about going to...

I am super skinny...like BMI 17. 5'10, 115lbs. I am genetically that way, I have an extremely fast metabolism apparently. Like I've had (I know it's horrible) Pizza Hut for 5 days a week for 3 months and I did not gain a pound. Just trying to paint a picture.

But I am okay with being skinny. I just want to get cut/ripped. I DONT want to bulk up. I am not interested in changing my diet significany, I like the fact that I can eat whatever and not worry about gaining weight. I want something like Brad Pitts super lean body in fight club. Any ideas? What excercises? What about food?

Should I do more reps, lighter weight? Or less reps and more weight?

I also think I gain muscle very quickly and don't lose it easily (correct me if I am wrong please) but we had gym class in high school 3 years ago and I have not excercised after that class, and I still have some of the visible biceps...lol.

Right now at home I have started push ups, crunches, pull-ups and chin-ups.

i'd suggest the same what you are doing right now , make it regular , i was the same like you , and due to workouts i was ripped indeed but my BMI was very low so now i changed the style , am now working on gaining and gaining and weight training ;)

Bodybuilding.com - What Is The Best Calisthenics Workout?

and about reps and weight question , i'd say you need to use your body weight till failure( the best for every level)

and about gaining muscle gaining and losing , you dont gain easily if ur diet is not containing anything that builds muscle and u r not training like you are Abuses will lead to banng ur muscle group so hard in other words breaking them and rebuilding , and u wont lose muscles if u maintain the enough ratio of protein

all you need now to follow frank medrano's motivation ;)

best of luck

Guys do share your workout music playlist. My playlist is exhausted and I am bored listening to them over and over. Want some new energetic songs to keep me going the extra mile.

I don't like music much, but it does help me keep myself focused in the gym. I usually work out much harder with music than without music.
Please do share (or upload :p) your play-lists.
