Driving License Eye test - WTH

Hey guys,
Need to know something about the driving license eye test. My license got expired so i went to the Clifton license branch to get it renewed. Followed all the official directions....no broker...didnt pay any one anything extra....paid the amount and paid the official fee of Rs. 100 for the medical. When i walked into the medical room, the doctor made me read the last line on the eye test chart...which i feel is impossible for any one to read. Then he told me that my eyesight is not 6/6 and i should go and get a checkup done at Jinnah Hospital.....WTH......Ive renewed my license a few years back and this SH## didnt happen... I can confidently say that my eyesight is perfectly fine and i can read any stuff which any normal person could read. My question is.....Was I a victim of HARAM KHORI???.....I should also mention that...before i went into the medical room....the documents and payment receipts of everyone sitting there were checked by the policeman standing outside the door....and on my turn, he went inside the room to say something. And then i got rejected. No way in hell im gonna pay anything to these Haram khors.

last time when my brother go to check eyes i try to read last line on the eye test chart its impossible to read that line even my bro with eye glasses can not read last line
so conclusion is that last line is unread able for normal humans unless u go really close to chart

no one can read the last line
u can make out the alphabets slightly not perfectly and that is fine

if u want to live in Pakistan u will have to bribe ur way through its a sad fact

Look for that chart somewhere else and memorize it. Next time when he tells you to read act as if you are seeing it for the first time.

lol ,, when i went their for eye test the medical officer told me "yar u r a young man thumari eye sight theak nai ho gi tu kia hmari ho gae" .... and then he dint take ma test ........

btw what was the official payment and stuff u total paid for getting these stuff done and how much it costs to make a drivers license legally ? thanks

you people can't read the last line =/ I have 6/6 vision and I just got my eye test done a month back ^_^ and yes I got the last line right too =P p.s I am 22 and still don't have a drivers license lol and everytime a chillar pulls me over I just play dumb and act like I didn't do anything =P saved my ass 3 times

i paid rs800 for learner's License and paid rs3000 for full driving license. got the point?

Well rules are changed. You have to pay for something which is also going in the direction of legal. Most of us are having good eye sights. The irony is that, we do not know the road signs. Forget the eye sight.

This medical test only happens in Karachi or is it new thing ? I remember 1 or 2 year back I went for my learning license in Lahore there was no medical test. even I went to get Permanent license (which I don't ) which is located at Thokar Niaz Baig near motorway Lahore I didn't saw any medical tests there. :no:

This seems like a Bugs Bunny cartoon in which the characters read even the very very minutest of alphabets written on the board lol.
