Downloading problems with ptcl

Hey guys is anyone you experiencing problems with ptcl download speeds? Cause i am and i have a 4MB connection and 3 or 4 weeks before i was getting 690, 800 kbps and now for 1 week i have been getting 480kbps :/ let me know if you are experiencing the same problem.

There would be bug or sumthin that gave u this much speed the actual speed on 4mb is from 450-480kbps

480 kbps is the real speed of 4 MBPS connections.

You were lucky you were getting 800 kbps before.

Haha lol really if 400kbps is the actual speed then it sucks oh well it was awesome downloading stuff @ 800 kbps. I actually downloaded a whole ps3 game like uncharted 2 which is around 30gb in one night and 360 games in less than an hour.

And that's not a problem you'r facing. You were just lucky to get 600-800kb/sec speed on 4mb connection.

I used to get 800 kb/s on my 1 mb PTCL dsl. I miss those days.

480kbps sounds fantastic, i get around 120 kbps average on my 1mb so that sounds about right for a 4mb connection.

4096/8 = 512KB/s i.e your top limit of 4MB connection. Some packet header info + some SNR and you get around 480 to 490. In theoretical world its ideal, Consider yourself lucky.

You were getting 6 - 8 MB speeds due to some glitch.

I am on 4mb and I get 480-500 kbps so your speed is completely fine.

i am using 1mb and getting 102-110KBPS its fine if you get 480KBPS @4mb.
