Does eating Pakistani poultry really causes cancer?

Cancer can develop due to 100 thousand reasons. Causes can be genetic or environmental. For example Tobacco ( cigarette ) is a very potent carcinogen ( which produce cancer). This doesnt meann that all smokers will develop lung cancer. But all those who do develop cancers are mostly smokers. Even sunlight is a carcinogen, all the artficial flavours in candy/biscuits are carcinogens. All the pollution , smoke that we inhale daily is carcinogenic. The lead contaminated water that we consume is carcinogenic.

So in short, there are a billion items which can cause cancer. How can you possibly protect yourself from all these ??? Answer is, it is NOT possible.
The best measure is to stay away from Very STRONG carcinogenic substances like Cigarette, Alcohol, Radiation areas. Thats just it.. But I have seen cancers developing in extremely young people as well. So there is truly no esacpe from this.. Things happen when they are supposed to ...

cancer is genetic that much is certain, so if u have any issues just get a cancer check.. if its in u it could tell u about it early on etc... there are tests available for this.

there is nothing wrong with the logic of this statement. however if he said 100% of people who die in Pakistan eat Pakistani poultry you could've said what you said.

anyway OP our broiler chicken has really bad feed with huge quantities of growth hormones etc and potentially has a lot of adverse effects, however I doubt it is a carcinogen.

And cancer is not just genetic as the majority of cancer incidents are sporadic (occurring in individuals with no genetic predisposition - at least according to current research). Environment and exposure to certain things has a role to play. e.g X-rays, gamma rays, lots of chemicals, radioactive elements, tobacco etc.

to protect yourself
eat 5 almonds daily, 2-3 cups of green tea a day. they are great source of anti-oxidants which fight cancer.
Prefer vegetables over chicken and atleast have 2 servings of vegetables daily. you can go with salad or kheera (cucumber).
We can try our best going with proper diet. Rest Allah knows.
PS. grow your own vegetables. the way medicines are grown here make them carcinogen (sprays, etc)

do you know that 99% of things you eat are full of cancerous materials? from your water bottles to your ghee and food colors and what not... everything is so damn full of chemicals and our dna is breaking apart... we are getting smarter but not stronger or healthier even with so much better health care. The chicken in america or any other place(broiler) is as dirty and bad as pakistan's... full of hormones and bad food. That is why there is a growing market for organic food in those countries. Do you know that the after you shop from a store and the ink they use to produce that small chit is extemely cancerous and is now banned in many countries. The favorite drink of many of us in ramadan is roh afza or jam-e-shireen but the dye used in it is extremely hazardous material and can cause cancer. From the ciggerattes to the air pollution your lungs are never safe and many people get lung cancers without even smoking. If you think like that then you will never be able to do anything without fear of dying. But you know what... the time of your death is written... you cannot escape it, so stop trying and live life the best way you can. Cancer is mostly caused in people with family history of such diseases.
