i really dont care if the pc version is gonna look just like the console version with no graphical improvements ... i really cant wait for this.
i used to play a game on ps1 called "vagrant story" and this game is kinda of similar in some ways....damn cant wait. XD

Are we PC players gonna get this edition of Dark Souls on 24th august? or would it be delayed for PC players?
Vagrant Story and this are completely different. :s
Vagrant Story has more in common with Parasite Eve than Dark Souls.
Also, Dark Souls is a spiritual successor to Demon's Souls which was a spiritual successor to the Kings-field series, which was on the PS1 aswell as the PS2.
The new content will be delayed on the consoles, but the PC date is set.

@1:02 - There are a bunch of giant Humanity looking creatures in the pit. They can be either friendly or hostile but this could be a very big slice of lore on the 4th Lord Soul (The Dark Soul). The Humanity item description says that the item is only called Humanity, so it isn't actually humanity. Some rumors on the DS message boards say that the Humanity item is an extension or creation of the Dark Soul.
@1:06 - It might just be some deformed Titanite Demon but the area (reminds me of the Abyss but you can see the floor) and the cut-scene intro of the monster might suggest that it's pretty important. It may be one of the beasts that lurk in the abyss and perhaps the reason that you are in Oolacile in the first place.
@1:13 - Bam! It's Lord's Blade Ciarran. Might just be a common flashy enemy but I'll call it right now, it's her. Though the camera angle looks like you are Ciarran or just wearing her gear. So she may not actually appear in the game so we can interact with her but atleast we'll get to know what she looked like.
@1:20 - And finally this.... this probably the most hard to explain clip. It looks like a Black Phantom Dark Knight (or maybe an online PvP invader wearing the Dark Knight armor set) is stabbing you in the face while you are in the coffin which leads to the Gravelord Covenant. This raises too many questions...
There is also the final clip with the giant in armor who is sculpting something on a rock who says "Thou will understand one day" but I'm pretty sure he's just some NPC who has minimal relevance....... or it could be just a troll comment to all Dark Soul players from Miyazaki about the effing Pendant debacle. Freaking prick.... -__-

Dark Souls' concept reminds me of SoTC for some reason. Is there a relation? I seem to think about it because the bosses are big.
Err... we don't exactly climb Giant Ass monsters and kill them. Dragon's Dogma is more like a hybrid of Dark Souls and SoTC though.
It's actually nothing like SoTC, except for a few big bosses that look fantastical.
the console version was out ages ago...the pc version is coming on the 24th of August....i think the consoles would get the new content a little later.

I M Getting started with this game and i must admit game is not a beauty which it should have been on PC until now.Desperatly looking 4 some mods now which make it better in term of graphics.
But i played it for 1 hour and i m sucked right in to it in first 5 min i was glaring at graphics and next 55 mins i was totally lost in the gameplay so unforgiving nice i like this challenge.:wink2:

U can play it with KB+Mouse easily not much tough controls on KB but somethings can be done with controller much easily.
We have disabled traderscore and are working on a fix. There was a bug with the plugin | Click for Discord

You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.iampasha said: -
