I also hope there aren't any more safe spots where you can just snipe away at the boss like that armored spider. And I certainly don't want any exploits like the fog door glitch in the Maneater fight. I want the bosses to move around a lot and not get stuck in geometry like the Flamelurker.



So I got to the prison in Duke's Archives. I was really surprised when I woke up in a cell after dying. I also freed Big Hat Logan. Now onto Seath the Scaleless.

I went to the Dukes Archive, then I fought the crystal enemies then I screwed off to the DLC area since I don't like these crystal fgts.

The Sanctuary Guardian was surprisingly easier then I expected, I killed him on my first try. :s

I made it to the Crystal Cave and died around 6 times trying to cross those paths. One of those clams broke my Lightning Spear so I had to use the Drake Sword. I also got cursed by Seath but luckily I had a couple of Purging Stones.

I stopped exploring the DLC area, and went back Anor Londo to get myself the Chaos Blade.

Now I'm at the demon ruins, are the bosses here supposed to be this easy? =/

Yup,these are normal in demon ruins. Nothing special. IMHO the fight against ceaseless discharge wasnt that hard either,centipede was a bit harder but nothing special. Plus u can skip both of them if need be. The DLC bosses are freaking hard tho.

I killed Ceaseless and Firesage with my chaos blade on my first try, hopefully the centipede is something better. =/

Ohh it will be. Plus then there is the final boss lol. Dont think its possible to kill her in one go. You do the left side first,and then the right one. Very technical stuff. And soon you should come to red titanite farming area as well. All in all it was pretty fun for me with all the bosses and stuff.

And i went with this upgrading path:
uchi=chaos
washing pole=fire
iaito=lighting
I Compared and each gives the highest damage in the selected category. Very happy with my Chaos and lightning upgrades (all the way too) but couldnt upgrade the washing pole all the way because ran out of red titanite slab

He managed to kill me twice, well atleast better then the other two.

I like the fact that Chaos Blade scales with humanity, 10 humanity just makes the C-blade shine.

You should have seen it before it was patched. It was like a "get your ass killed stick," if I remember correctly, it didn't scale with humanity, had crap base damage and each swing drain 1% of your health instead of just 20HP. So in PvP, all some jackass has to do is dodge you a 100 times by ninja flipping and you'd kill yourself, the blade counted the hits even if people rolled through them...

Welp, I'm done with Lost Izalith/Demon Ruins.

"Fought" Bed of Chaos. Apparently FromSoft didn't have enough time to make this boss good. I'll leave it at that.

Can anyone tell me any good weapons and upgrade paths? I'm tired of my Lightning Spear and that goddamn Drake Sword. How are chaos weapons? Which sword would be good for chaos? Or fire?

Also, should I go down into the Catacombs now? I got my ass handed to me by Seath once and I'm not planning on going against him right now.

How about you quit with the elemental paths and go with something a bit more advanced? Elemental paths are so scrubish, try going for scaling weapons. Physical damage is better than any other damage since everything is weak against it. Check your stats and which stat you've invested more on, Str, Dex, Int or Fai.

If it's Str then go for Clubs or Heavy weapons, if it's Dex then go for Curved Swords or Light weapons, if it's Int then take any weapon and take it up the Magic path, if it's Fai then take any weapon and take it up the Divine path.

Your +5 Chaos/Lightning Uchigatana with no stat scaling @ 99 Dex is weaker than my +15 Uchigatana with S Dex scaling @ 40 Dex, and that's before I buff it with Gold Pine Resin which adds 150 more damage.

You can enter the Catacombs now (you're probably way over-leveled for that area now) but don't advance further than the first boss in the Catacombs. After that is Tomb of the Giants, if you have no light source with you then don't even bother going there yet.

Endurance, Vitality and Strength are the stats that I've invested in. I don't really want heavy weapons right now so I'm gonna invest in Dexterity and get some light weapons.

This game looks SO GOOD in 3D man SOFA KING GOOD!

Running 720p/60 FPS 3D without a hitch (well it drops framerate rarely but its extremely solid and so good thus far).

Some GPU's have the option to convert games into 3D.

Used TriDef software to convert this to 3D. Looks very good.

I posted in another thread about how good 1080p looks, and that I would prefer that over 3D (after having experienced both). But I played 3D enabled for 3 hours yesterday and after that, I couldn't go back to 2D The depth is amazing and Moonlight Butterfly fight in 3D = MINDBLOWN.
