..... if you come across Mexicans in the game, they'll be speaking Spanish. If you wanted to understand them, you'd need to use a "transplanting implant", and the quality of the translation you received would depend on the level of the implant.

Yeh, the quality of translation would depend on how much we learned Al-Bhed. Seems like similar case here.

People actually like different dialects. It adds a sense of realism and authenticity. The highest difficulty of Crysis 1 uses Korean as exclusive language for added challenge. Plus most of the fighting games keep both Japnese and English dialects.
