if ics would be good with dual cores then i won't need to upgrade the phone and just shift to that os right?? to get good performance?? i mean i don't really even need to do that as this phone suffices all my needs... i am the guy who runs after the #1 thing always but never did it cuz i thought it would be moronic... and finally decided last month to do it(it has been only 3 weeks waisay and not a whole month yet
) and bought a corei7 pc with a few other top of the line gadgets(wait for my asus xonar essence stx soundcard unboxing
)... going for the top of the line stuff is a disease which is more like greed... i will stick to the phone as i have spent more than 300k about 3 weeks back on so much stuff that i don't actually need(i have been phoneless for more than a year before that
)... i will go for the s3 when it comes out...
You dont need to show off. I get it you have too much money to spare

Custom Roms are always available, which most of the times include updates which are not officially available for your device.
A tiny example would be, the availability of Android Market 3.2.0 ... where Officially, its not available for Galaxy S2. (A very tiny example that is)
Just wait for the 4.0 ... i am sure Developers will find a way to port it to other devices.
Galaxy nexus is 135mm tall, no way would I ever buy a phone that big, even the S2 is uncomfortable to use with one hand but still much more manageable than the nexus.
For reference an S2 is 125mm tall and the iphone is 115mm, that should give you an idea of how much bigger it really is than the S2. It is also little wider and heavier than the S2 which just makes it a very uncomfortable phone to use on a daily basis as far as I am concerned. Android manufacturers are really going crazy with the sizes and apple is doing the opposite, 3.7-4" is the perfect size for phones, I dont want a computer in my pocket.
A
Google Phone vs. Samsung Flagship Device.
Google Phone is GOOGLE PHONE (i am sure you know what i am trying to imply here). It may seem to have a HUGE @$$ on Paper, but i am sure it wont be much better than Galaxy S2. (Practically). I've seen people, who can kill for a curved glass display (literally).
Besides, I am concerned the SGS2's hardware is still superior to Galaxy Nexus.
By the end of the day, they both have of equal importance.
For now , ICS 4.0 seems to be superior than any other Dual Core
Gingerbread device available. But its FOR NOW ... and it WILL change in a very short time (after its release).
