Core i3 is a very fast little processor man
Almost all games will run perfectly on this Setup

A few games like BF3 on Multiplayer will benefit from Core i5

i5 and c2q both have 4 cores which make them to handle heavy games however i3 is also a good proc but it may stress in games bcoz it has only 2 cores

u can change both anytime u want bro buying an i3 will not bottleneck 7850 and u will get better frame rates in gpu dependent games i.e 95% of the the the other 5% are CPU dependent which i3 can also handle quite well. i3 out performs most core2quads and is on par with 9000 series

ok babes now increasd my budget to 55k now suggest a setup cuz i need to buy asap and for long terms ...

@OP if you absolutely want ivy bridge i5, then above is the best you can get.

If you want Performance.

i5-2400 RS 18500 (Galaxy)
Asus H61-mlx - 5300 (czone)
Xigmatech 500w RS 4900
Gigabyte Radeon HD 7850 RS 25500
Ram Kingston 4GB value ram RS 2250

Total = 56450Rs

This setup would give you atleast 80% more gaming performance than the ivy bridge one.
You get i5 sandy bridge as well as a very good Gpu.

Ivy is better i think cuz i know my father he may change th gpu but will not change the processor...

u can save an additional Rs 700 purchasing 500w thermaltake psu if u want other than that this asus mobo which i believe supports ivy after bios upgrade check this thread for GPU i would suggest Gigabyte 6850 from czone or HIS 7770 or HIS 6790 from galaxy as for casing u can choose any u like the Casecom 6788 that makes a total of Rs 25250 if u go for HD 6850 and Rs 22850 & Rs 23250 if u go for 6790 & 7770 respectively

also u can buy an ivy bridge motherboard but im no expert on it so it is advised that u wait for the others to suggest u a good ivy mobo

found a ivy mobo suggested by wankelboy the Gigabyte H77 mobo for RS 9700
