Okay to start off i am not much of a BF person, i bought the game to see what the hell everyone is yapping about, to be honest didn't really liked BF3 because when ever i used to join a server i used to die die die die lol

Well the beta did blew my socks off to be honest, graphics are top notch, sound is even better, evnironment is destructable and you can (and often deliberately) will make new passages to get to the objective quickly, this is a place holder i will post in detail right now going back to the game :p

Edit: Okay now i have stopped playing so will post impressions

I am VERY happy to report that with my rig i am able to play the game at Ultra settings @40-60fps (average around 50) was able to find a under 200ms server (180) and it was kinda playable, obviously people with lower ping had an advantage over me, took me a little while to figure out how to play, i wish there was a tutorial for totally newbie battlefield player like me, for instance in start i had to figure out to trace enemies on maps with blips. i am still playing assault class as it was easy to grasp run and gun, the other class i figured out was recon which obviously is sniper, but what are their specific roles and weaponry is something i wish to see explained in some kind of tutorial

Secondly what i didn't liked was i started game from battle log and obviously it threw me right in the server and i had to configure controls etc while in the game i guess in the full game there would be a menu to configure controls etc before hand.











First time knife attempt by me :p took out everything but the fucking knife lol

shukar hai they fixed the battlelog..one huge bummer in BF3 was that pings wouldnt show..happened like 70% of the times..here on the other hand pings keep changing in real time on battlelog

Oh man i was just in a 64 player server and it was fucking CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZY !!!! tanks going around low flying choppers and what not ....

hmm Chinese rifle looks really crunchy , some how resemble to JN90 .

My biggest problem with BF3 were ....
1. I'd get immense pings, and even 200 ping would act like 400 because of massive hig reg relay.
2. I'd get kicked by servers for my high ping (i paid for this f*cking game)
3. I'd get kicked by the admin "IF" i manage to kick the sh*t out of opponents, branded as "hacker".
4. There aren't many servers to play on Unless you buy all the DLCs, which makes the base game or atleast ONE DLC seem totally irrelevant.

I am reasonably certain i'll face similiar issues in this one too.

That's not a fault on developers' end. It's either you or them stupid 12 year old admins.

You'll face these kind of situations in almost all the online shooters out there. NOthing to do with the game.

Just don't join the servers with "high ping kicker" plugin and also, there are many servers for the base game. Even though I own premium, I usually play Caspian, Damavand & Bazaar and there are many servers for these maps (most of the time full), you just have to search for them.

Actually there aren't. And if we filter down the servers with respect to ping, then it comes down to a ... handful. Seriously :\

I want to play all game modes and especially ALL MAPS. But these f*cktards (not just in BF3) always play one, two or three specific maps or even games modes. Heck even lock some of the weapons. I don't expect or want this kind of sh*t in a game i paid for man :S

What you are not getting, is that the package Battlefield offers is highly unstable. People who haven't purchased the DLC or Premium soon get left out and have no way other than to pay for more DLCs

There are other maps and game modes too. And i absolutely hate it when they skip, or not include a map at all in a game.

Anyway, i hope BF4 resolves these issues instead of just being BF3.1. (Don't hate me for it 8: ). I don't feel like paying for a game which always annoys me with high pings hence crappy gameplay, a lot of restrictions. (Who knows if i still end up buying it :p)

I will still follow the impressions of other people and ofcourse, not miss the open BETA due in 3 days (its Oct 4).
