Well my save file was removed only once when a sudden loadshedding occured (I got BSOD once but it recovered on the next restart). Last night I accidentally moved the PC wire resulting in it closing while in mid-game. But save file did not get corrupt ... So it might be some issue with a crack or something. Good thing corruption happened when in the ship area (inside 10 minutes of the game).

download the new AC3 crack(its only 300kb i think). The theta crack. It bypassess the uplay and you can easily play the game just by clicking on it

Just to save time and to avoid looking at the repetitive Ubisoft screen (or RG mechanics logo if you downloaded that one), delete the ubi_logo in Videos folder. Game starts MUCH faster like this.

bro download and implement the THETA Crack it works like a charm. It ran my game at first time without any crashes and uplay headache.
This message is for Console Users in general the game is developed on Computers which is Daddy of all things when it comes to games and everything regarding it, so console fanboys suck this truth as quick as you can because you know that you would never ever able to beat PC's at any cost. And HAHA your one console worth is = our one high end GPU or Two mediocre GPUs. So next time don't even dare to match your Lame Ass consoles with out beasts. As for the delay well the game arrived for PC na so that's the main thing which only counts.

Do NOT worry. A proper crack is out. A lot of people just don't know. Use the THETA crack. I've been playing for hours. NO problem!
People were just using the older crack with uPlay and all that lameness. THETA crack is a simple copy-paste crack and works flawlessly.

You mean RG mechanics? SnT? It works with all versions. I too, have the 5.4GB version. It's not a rip. They just took out the multiplayer, that's that. It still has all the videos, dialogs etc.

As for the THETA crack yes it worked 100% fine without any problems. Im playing AC3 via that crack.
