[h=1]Assassin's Creed III: Kill Benedict Arnold Again In PS3 Exclusive Content[/h]

Benedict Arnold's name is synonymous with treason. He might be the most famous traitor in American history.

And, come October 30, you'll be able to kill him all over again in Assassin's Creed III.

The four PS3-exclusive missions will follow Connor as he roots out the source of reported treason in West Point. The fort at West Point was crucial to the Revolutionary War. The Hudson River divided the colonies, and West Point was a natural choke point where only one tall ship at a time could get through. Whoever controlled the Hudson controlled the supply lines, making loss of the river all the more dangerous.
As for the famous figure in the center of this mission, the actual facts of the matter surrounding Benedict Arnold and his actions are more complex than just hating freedom or being blinded by greed. The story will work in what Arnold was thinking in the game, right down to including original court transcripts as dialogue.

The content, and the game itself, will be available October 30.

It's 4 missions lol

The assassin's tombs were pretty basic, these are more relevant to the storyline. And just like all previous PS3 exclusive DLC (Arkham Asylum, RDR), this will most likely stay exclusive. :p

Actually both the RDR and Arkham DLC's made their way to the 360, true story (sm1)

Btw, it's "4" missions, but its' "60 minutes of exclusive gameplay", so those are probably pretty small and insignificant missions :p

and lets not forget they're already offering different exclusive missions as retailer exclusives either, we can get ALL of them for free on Jtag, and hence have the more content rich experience, which will probably be a better experience technically if you take the example of all 4 previous AC games :p

[h=1]This Fan-Made Assassin’s Creed 3 Movie Isn’t Messing Around[/h]

Yesterday, we learned that the Assassin’s Creed movie has found a studio. That’s great news, but making a movie can be a pretty slow process and lots of fans are itching to see a live action take on the AC world as soon as possible. The folks at Corridor Digital have solved that problem with this five-minute video.

The fan-made clip is inspired by the Assassin’s Creed III preview trailers. Don’t let the fan-made description throw you off; this is some high quality stuff.

The assassin shows off some surprisingly acrobatic agility and slashes through a group of Revolutionary soldiers. Here a look:

Stick around to the end of the video if you are interested in hearing some words from the creators of Assassin’s Creed: Rebel Blades.

Assassin’s Creed 3 is slated for an Oct. 30 release on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Wii U and PC players will have to wait a few weeks longer.

But but....the Joker levels! :p

which will probably be a better experience technically if you take the example of all 4 previous AC games :p
But then, AC III is running on the brand new Anvil Engine, so the two console versions may yet be on par. :p

The DF tech analysis should be interesting. Unfortunately, the embargo is getting lifted on the day of release i.e. the October 30, so we'll have to wait a couple of days for that.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure they put those in the GoTY version for 360 as well, the version with all the stickers on it that became a meme.

It'll still probably look better on the 360 but the differences are usually pretty small, I don't know why you guys waste so much time arguing about this shit. lol

Edit: Never mind.

Why does Ubisoft always lift the embargo for its games on the day of their release? Do they have absolutely no confidence in their product? :S

Well lets break it down ...

Pre order from the following and get :

Gamestop : Single Player Mission - Lost Mayan Ruins.
Best Buy : Single Player Mission - Ghost of War
Amazon : Character for Single Player Campaign - Captain of the Aquila
Wallmart : Single Player Mission - A Dangerous Secret

That sounds like content more than 60 minutes that would be "exclusive" to Jtag owners unless someone pre orders the game 5 times :p (sm1)

Wow Chhowni
Can we expect the combat system to be more challenging this time? It was far too easy in the previous ones.
I hope Connor is a likeable person. I started to despise Ezio by the end of Revelations.

I think they've made the combat more "easy", based on some game play videos from some time ago, every time you kill someone now the game slows down for a second to give you time to chain the next kill easily, in the past AC games the combat never slowed down until the last kill for a cinematic effect.

I've been keeping dark on the game so not sure whether that thing is in the final product as well or not.

It's probably going to be the same, I don't think comabt slows down though, I've only seen one gameplay video (Staying dark too) but Combat definitely didn't slow down in that one, You just have the option to press more than one button to counter enemies now, X will make Connor do one type of move, B will make him to another and so on.Also they said they removed all kinds of regenerating health and haelth potions so health can't come back during combat.Still you shouldn't expect much challenge.

Ofcourse In games like this you can always make chalenge ofr yourself on your own, I think AC III will also ave the virtual room that brotherhood had. It's was fun playing for kill streaks in that.I usually try to be as stealthy as possible during my Assassinations.
