Anywho - 'the whole new level' could be anything you both as a couple wish it to be. In my scenario, our friendship became a lot deeper - we started spending more time together with/without group of friends, talked more, and over all enjoy things more when we are together. In short, it is exactly how every writer tells you about love - everything just seems better, more fun, easier etc.
What is the purpose of dating? When you develop feelings for someone (that is natural and could be caused by several reasons) you want a solution to them. When you have a crush or are in love, you feel like shit [heart sinking etc] - solution is dating (there are other but none of them are the one your mind is actually looking for).
How do you decide who you want to date? Ask yourself what kind of person would you want... you'll get the answer

Who to date? Its different for everyone. My friend wants a gori chitti girl, another friend wants a girl who is deep into extra curricular stuff like photography and sports and etc. I can only date whom I have a crush on, and my crushes at this moment in time are based on looks, personality, circle of friends, a lot of other superficial stuff.
As already mentioned in this thread, I have a best friend whom I love and who loves me, but I dont see myself dating her because she isnt compatible with my style of life and my style of thinking.
The problem is that there is no single rule or statement which can encompass all the types of people involved in love. Some do it for the thark. Some do it to make their friends jealous. Some do it for the money. Some do it for the love. Some do it because they want an escape from life(done that). Some do it because they want to settle down. Some do it because they're just kewlz like dat.

We have even had so many eyelocks, But none of us have the guts to actually come forward. All i could get to do was find her profile on fb and message her xD, Unlucky me that too went into her "Other Messages" which a person rarely reads.

because in there perception love is having girlfriend . actually this thread title should be "thread about GIRL FRIEND'S" because in this whole thread i couldn't find a single person whom have love for his carrier or any other passion of his or for his family or friends or for some noble cause but what i found just some teenagers crying for there EX girl friends whom kick them and happy with some one else where they are trying for some new crush or for there EX and they call this need love but actually it is just lust same as human have lust for money and so on that's it .
