Hello Guys,

As we all already know , Mitsubishi rocks and they are the best in quality and performance is extreme hot weather...

but their price is also sky high ,

a few days ago i checked the market and Mr. Slim 1 Ton was priced at 45k minimum in the market.. but you know other companies you can find 1 ton in range of 30k

so i wana know , after Mr. Slim which AC is the second best??

cuz i was planning on saving some money and buying a cheap ac for this summer season , i am only gonna be using the AC for max 3 years..

Thanks

I'm using Kenwood since last year and it works perfectly. I had a mitsubishi till 2012 which I had been using since, 8 years, but we shifted so at the new place we got a Kenwood for 29k. My Mitsubishi was good but the current Kenwood is better.

I actually prefer Panasonic over Mitsubishi. But if you want a cheaper AC then Haier is a good option.

Cooling actually, and power consumption is nearly the same.

Idk about him but I have one (1.5ton) in my TV lounge, which is partially sealed (i.e. no door for drawing room so it is like partially sealed off with curtains) but it cools really well. We keep it at 26C and it brings down the room ambient from 32-33C to 27-28C. Like yesterday I set it to 22 and the room ambient dropped to 25C in about 30min give or take.

p.s TV lounge gets direct sunlight in afternoon.

Acson is 'okay' my dad's friend has it.

On the other hand, I've got a 1.5 ton Mitsubishi in my TV Lounge and it's amazing, in my bedroom I've got a 1 Ton Samsung AC and it's just as good.

I agree with @SEvolution, Panasonic ACs are better than Mitsubishi. I have 1 ton AC and it chills (literally! :p) the room in 30 mins. Though they are as expensive as Mitsubishi. Thing is Mitsubishi (Slim one) is manufactured in Pakistan (quality issue) whereas Panasonic ACs are Malaysian made.

If you are planning to buy Panasonic make sure you buy the new model (with some eco sensor) and not the simple one which were introduced 3-4 years back. People here in markets are selling those self imported old model ACs and selling them with (fake/international warranty cards) as authorized dealers. So, buy the Panasonic AC from an authorized Dealer (such dealer would only have Panasonic products in proper Panasonic style display).

I just bought an Acson 2 ton reversible split unit (AC and Heat). And believe me it's a beast! It cools my room completely in literally 20 minutes. The hospital I work in also uses Acson Ac's wherever they use split air conditioners (most of the hospital is centrally air conditioned), and I was advised by their engineering department to either go with Acson or Mitsubishi. They said to stay away from Haier.

After having experience with various brands personally, including Super Asia, Dawlance, Panasonic, Mistsubishi (slim & heavy), Hiar (if thats how its spelled), Pel & Orient, i can confidently tell you that currently The Best AC going on in the market is Orient. Locally manufactured, is of decent quality but the Performance is Top Notch. With proper maintenance, it'll easily last you 6-7 years. (But please make sure you don't let any local mechanic touch it. ALWAYS call the company person to get it fitted and even if you have refill gas, call the company man. May cost more but is more reliable)

7 Years back my we purchased a Super Asia 1.5 Tons AC and it was the best thing we have ever purchased. Was OK on power consumption but the performance (and throw) was So powerful that It'd cool my Hall Like Room in less than 10 minutes, and after 30 minutes ... it'll be impossible for you to sit infront of it because it'll start to freeze you. (In an accident, its out door unit got busted about 3 years ago - A Shotgun shells shredded the compressor ... gun fight right outside my door between two gangs was the reason)

I'll spare the details but we currently are running a 1.5 tons Mistubishi Heavy (don't remember the exact model atm). It costed us approx 70k+ (after installation - the cost o AC was 65k something) last season and let me just say ... having good experience in past with Mistubishi, i can confidently tell you that its NO USE spending huge amount on this. Just DONT. Its wasteful. The performance is Awful. Throw is fine though.

So called "Imported Compressor" is just a hoax. Everything is locally manufactured and their sell you "slightly better quality one" for more price premium than locally manufactured.

Orient at about HALF the price of Mitsubishi (either Slim or Heavy) can perform X2 better. You can visit any family person or a friend who have one installed.

So my suggestion would be to go for a 1.5 Tons Orient AC.

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.

tbh gaming industry as a whole is failing much like tech industry. They have buckled down too much to Corporate suites then relying on passionate and innovative people. A corporate only believes in financial growth and shareholders.
