i believe amjad is by far the best i have played in pindi, i played him last at fareeds house a couple of months back , apart from that i played him once at killing hawks house, i only managed to beat him 2 times out of the 12 or so games i played with him, although as he admits himself he has little knowledge of the ssf4 but he has been playing sf2 for 8 years so his basics are very strong like i was trying to jump in the middle of the link and he caught me and told me what i was doing wrong, so there is a lack of basic knowledge among us new players compared to the old school ones, not to mention the spacing, akuma has better footsies/zoning tools against ryu and i was having too much trouble against him back then, some of the later matches were really close but i lost almost all of them, as fareed has said dont abuse the throw tech OS against him, he uses the ryu bnb that has 2 frame traps in one block string so if you mash it you are fucked as he wont miss a link once you have been caught in the frame trap, i realized that the last time i met him, the combo is basically lp<mp<Lp<Fireball all in crouching, so you see there are 2 frame traps there. plus i suggest you play against him to improve your game as he dosent play like the rest of the scrub ryus, that shoryuken AA into ultra. i hope i soon find time to play against him really nice guy, just learn the basic matchup against ryu and play him , will be really fun

last night i played with some arbi and there is quite manageable lag there but when ever i played with paki friends lag is huge wtf is going on

@abbas, not every char has a shoryuken, hopefully when ae arrives ill get my MP shoryuken for akuma so i can mash that shit like crazy, and as far as back dash is concerned, i think only chun and rose have a good backdash like that , cause the crouching mk that follows the lp catches all the other backdashes

@master bates: Not every character has a Shoryuken, that's true. But most have a move with an invincible start-up and that's all you need. These include Rose's Soul Spiral, Rufus's EX Messiah Kick, Zangief's Bashing Fist, and Chun Li's Hazanshu. And no, the cr.MK won't catch ANY back-dash if performed as a frame-trap, not even Dhalsim's. lol

last night i played with inferno we played about 20 matches .. had lag sometimes but mostly had quite manageable lag

Yup, his basics are impeccable. I need to learn new strategies than doing a Hail Marry! and jumping in all the time. But learning NOT to tech throw is going to be hard!

yea can you believe it. I could not digest the fact that out of everyone i played , i would have connection issues with you. Maybe it was Xbl or maybe it was my connection , but what the heck man . Sorry Sohail , you msged me last night but trust me i am rusty as hell and i was a lil busy with me kids , have not played ssf4 for 2 months now and Amjad took advantage of that on Saturday lols. Played with Zulqurnain and Usman on xbl .Both of them were amazing players .
