Its only a rumour for now but people are being banned for playing the leaked copies of ASSASSINS CREED. So dont buy or play AC for now.

OK i see what you are talking about ... you mean just play the game and then never connect your system to Live... yeah that can save you from getting banned... but it'll take all the fun out of the next-gen(read: online) play...
