I would go with Frakistan here, but only because i have been following mgs series for past 10 years and m a very big fan of it. Returning to shadow moses, snake dragging through that radiation zone, how Ninja died saving snake in mgs1 and the way Raven died; for me all these are the most epic moments in past 10 years.

MGS4 is perhaps the one game that made me feel old. Having to return to shadow moses, and that heart touching music "The best is yet to come"... Man, I cherish MGS4 because of the way it reminds me of the past.

Most epic moments. All in one game.

P.s. the vid was posted as a joke n so was the game. Mgs4 has too small of a crowd following and sales for tht matter to be the most epic. Far more epic gaming moments exist ... eg cod4 nuke scene as chandoo quoted earlier

epic ?? dude i think i can say that i am a pretty big MGS fan but that scene was height of cheesiness and was as lame as a starflush tv serial..Kojima san lost his touch near the end in MGS4....between this and a certain ninja stoping a cruiser,i wasn't so sure if it was MGS or a bollywood movie

I completely disagree. MGS has a great following and is widely considered as one of the best game series of all time.
Talking about sales would be, with all due respect, idiotic.

I have never understood why sales matter in order to determine a game's quality, it sounds pointless altogether.
COD has insane sales, but that doesn't make it a great game for that matter.

Some of the great games have very little sales but they are exemplary in their own, take The Witcher 2 on PC for instance. I don't think the game has had very good sales but it is definitely regarded as one of the best games on PC.

In the same way, the MGS Saga is widely considered as one of the best out there. Even though it has been platform specific but it's still praised by XBOX and PC gamers alike.

Also you have to play it to judge it. Play all 4 MGS games and then come to a conclusion.
