Why is no one talking about the wi tribe lte a services? There packages, although capped, seem to be reasonable. The thing is i wanna get this but there is no information what so ever about it anywhere. Like speedtests, customer support, QoS etc. Anyone with any information please chime in.

Okay, coverage area aside, do you guys think they can really pull off true LTE-A. I mean do they have enough spectrum, resources etc. Or is it all just a marketing gimmick?

They could really pull it off, 20 MHz spectrum in the 3.5GHz band, but their speeds are very mediocre.

One would expect higher but the average speeds people in Lahore are getting are between 50 and 70 Mbps, although that is very good, it could be way more with the spectrum they have.

Wi-Tribe is intending to keep it that way. Although the speed they tested on their launch was 200Mbps, they don't intend to cross 30-40Mbps mark to avoid choke, confirmed by the staff themselves.

Marketing hype was unnecessary then. 30-40 Mbps is achievable on Zong as well, and will be possible on Jazz as well after they complete their upgrades.

Secondly, 200 Mbps lab testing speed is quite disappointing over such a high frequency band, was expecting something much higher than this.

But Zong and Jazz don't give 250GB data for Rs. 2800.

30-40 Mbps, although a little underwhelming for LTE-A, still seems pretty reasonable. Would I get these same speeds during peak hours?

After taxes and stuff, it would be around 3800. Just confirmed from customer support. Which is still better compared to Zong etc.

I`m currently paying 2800+ for Qubee 4mbps/500GB, 250GB is still good enough but if we get speeds of 40-50 mbps.

If anyone has used its trial please share.

It's 5000 for now. Even so, mobile network data, no matter how fast it is, is barely enough for even Facebook usage. What am I going to do with 25GB data limit on a 50mbps connection?

I messaged their page on FB. It seems they claim an average speed of 16-18 mbps. I mean even by 4G's standard thats mediocre. Yet they are advertising it as 4.5G. Also they don't specify their maximum speed cap, I doubt they are transmitting at 200 mbps, it's more like 80-100 mbps. They really need to address that, and also 18 mbps, really? And it's so early, imagine what would happen when they get some load.
