What to Order from USA? Advice needed from PG members

Dear All

I am planning to order some items from USA ( Amazon, Bestbuy and Walmart). My friend is visiting there and will bring them for me.

Just wanted to know from the fellow PG members about the items which are in demand here and can sell for a good price?

My budget is limited (Less than 400 USD) Large items are out of question

do some research for good deals, i have seen some good laptops sold for like 50-60% of their prices, those units are just got off the shelf there making room for newer goods but here they are still going good.. primary u r looking for something sold here for just under 50k, buying it at for 30-35k max and selling it for around 45K coz it will be new but no warranty..

well, this just an idea i got by looking around the net don't know how feasible it really is, if anybody got any experience please do share

dude nexus 4 8gb or the nexus 7 32gb HSPA+ both have the same price i.e 299 usd so they perfectly fit ur budget (1)

SD CARDS and USB was a good choice six months back. Won't yield any good profit I suppose.. Nexus 7 or any gadget not available here is your only choice...

Nexus 7 or Nexus 4, If he able to bring Nexus 4 then you will have better margin as compared to Nexus 7.

Nexus 4 is a small item he can bring two to three with him.

I agree. But it is a heavy item. I don't want to overburden my friend . And are you sure i can get it for 150 USD and sell it for 22K here ?

Get Graphic cards, preferably GTX 660', 660 ti's as they're hell expensive over here and are of course in demand. As you're in a budget, a GTX 660 would be the ideal choice of EVGA. Over here the price is around I guess 27-29K. In the USA, it's 20-21K max. It can go lower easily.

And I almost forgot, if your friend lives near microcenter, then they're giving 2500K's for only $100 before tax, whereas they can easily go in pak for 17-19K.

Yeah Black Friday/Boxing Day are very close. Last year they went as low as 130$ per X360 Slim 4 GB . But it was sold out quickly. The 150$ one remained at many stores. So he can get em easily. But they are indeed heavy. 4.5-5 KG per box which would be above his limit. Not to mention that bringing multiple same packed items might get a duty tax imposed upon arriving in Pakistan.
