VPNs no longer working in Pakistan?

Can someone confirm a Paid VPN service which is working? We can always group buy. Upto 5 logins at the same time are allowed I think.
Oh and is this blockage only on PTCL or all ISPs doing it?

Block at PIE = any and all ISP's in Pakistan.

And paid VPN will be blocked as well cause my personal server, which only like 2-3 people used in Pakistan got blocked as well, its IP had literally no search footprint etc. Looks like deep packet inspection at PIE.

Read about it... I was using my friend's hosting for ssh via putty but I guess they'll block that too someday. I guess online privacy is a joke now. SSL has been cracked, TLS has been cracked, Tor has been cracked (i read somewhere the nodes are NSA servers).

Waisay, this is something they cannot do. You cant block VPNS. You Can block WAN connectivity. But then you cannot block PPTP and L2TP ports without removing WAN capabilities and crippling all the multinationals. If they have done something like this, it will be reverted back soon enough. But then again, this is Pakistan :/

And i doubt they have blocked Ultrasurf. Ultrasurf was voted No.1 Security Circumvention tool by a Harvard Peer Review, heck abhi tak CHINA nahee block kar paya UltraSurf ko, if they have managed to block that, then Allah Bhala Karay Sab Ka.

hotspot shield is working fine on my ipad and on s4 .....
looks like pta just banned the desktop version of vpns but they havent figured out the way to block mobile based vpns yet
