we were talking about ULtimate Spiderman , but my brother bought a SPiDERMAN 3 PC DVD and it is also working great on my GPU , :p,and better in VISTA
that's bulls**t you are talking. Here are the minimum system rquirements for the spiderman 3 and your PC's integrated GPU is way too inferior than a Geforce 7300GT and your PC's integrated GPU support SM 3.0 in only software mode.
  • CPU: Pentium 4/Athlon XP or better
  • CPU Speed: 2.8 GHz
  • System: RAM 1 GB for Windows 2000/XP or 1.5 GB for Windows Vista
  • Operating System: English version of Microsoft(R) Windows(R) 2000/XP/Vista
  • Video Card: 100% DirectX(R) 9.0c-compliant AGP/PCIe 256 MB onboard memory hardware T&L-capable video card with Shader Model 3.0 support and the latest drivers (NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT+ / ATI Radeon X1300+)
  • Free Disk Space 6 GB of uncompressed hard disk space (plus 600 MB for the Windows swap file)

Ok my opinion on vist... keep far far away from it.. my brother had it installed on his core2duo 2ghz processor with 1gb ram laptop and ran worse than a celeron, even tho it had a genuine vista installed on it... i tried it myself and i seriously name vista to be the crappiest windows there is... there was an explorer error almost every few minutes and then the booting speed... oh god.. i mean i got a 500 mhz p3 which boots xp faster than that... now i have installed xp and it takes less than 10 seconds in my opinion to boot up xp..

can you show some screen shots of your integrated GPU running spidey 3 I have seen people complaining on intel forums about its bigger bro GMA X3000 which is better than GMA3100. I was also thinking of buying a mobo which has GMA3100 graphics but abandoned this idea after googling. If you'll show some screenshots I might switch back to a GMA3100 based mobo.

thats because they are both S.M 2.0 cards. The game requires a S.M 3.0 card.

na33m did u run spider man on your built in vga ? and have you tested out anyother DX9 games on vista ? btw i also wanted to ask if dota will run properly ... i have it patched to 1.21 and i cant find the patch notes anything about vista compatability so if anyone on vista who plays dota can give me some feedback id really appreciate it and aswell as anyother feedback on dx9 games being played on vista personally imo dx10 is hyped up and is nothing more then improved lighting and A MINUTEEEEEEEEE improvement in textures otherwise dx9 is the way to go call me crazy but these were my 2 cents
DotA works like a charm on vista, I have tried it many times on various PCs of different specs so don't worry from the Dota + vista compatibility part.

But I recommend you that you should remain stick with XP if you only want to play games, if you really want to switch over vista from the dx10 point of view, then get the 8800 series card first.

Or be the winner and keep your PC on dual boot XP + Vista as I have it so you can switch to any OS according to the game requirements :)

BTW your Hard drive is quite small in capacity, at least get a 250GB or more HD as now nearly all the new games takes around 6GB (crysis) to 12GB(gears of war) or more installation space and what's more, don't forget those RARed DVDs aka DVD9 to 2 DVD local pirates conversion which require extra 8GB for extracting RAR files.
