ok guys
was thinking of making a thread merged with the 5850 and the psu hdd
but the gpu went back in warranty and will be i think getting a new piece on sunday
@story behind the warrqanty claim
i used to get white vertical lines
actually at first the lines werent there but whn iinstalled the drivers the lines started to appear..so the guy took it back for warranty
then when i researched the net..there was a driver problem with win 7 64 bit and 5850 the the new catalyst drivers 9.11 drivers
called the guy today he said u can come on sat or sun to get the new card:p


went with the coolmax usa psu
as it is 850 w aluminuim and cheap
i mean i was getting a gigabyte odin 620w psu or thermaltake 600 w psu.
but then decided to get this one.
and i am pretty happy with the results
at 100% load
5v:- 5.003 V
12v:- 0.76:D had the same problem with my previous psu:) in bios is 12.167v
3.3v :- solid 3.34 v solid straight line

Congratulation bro, excellent upgrade. Specially HDTune results are great, access time, burst rate and average all are great.

n equally gud power supply!!!
just test run ur setup n load this 12v rail! it will show how much it is stable!
waisay over past few months i have used 4 motherboards with my tx750
n i have noticed one thign!
all voltage rails fluctuations greatly depend on motherboard also!
so i hope ur mobo give u best n optimum performance!!!

Yup i noticed the same thing with few mobo that i've used. Specially with Asus p5wdh deluxe my 12v rating used to drop around 11.5v but with MSI P35 it never goes below 12v.

YUP same here ... my psu used to give 11.87 with giga p35 ds3r, 12.06v with asus maximus 2, 12.05 with intel dx58so n with crappy xfx 650i im getting 10.87 lol ...

But and 850W PSU and all wires are not sleeved, isnt that pathetic? :eek:

nahn yaar the cables are sleeved just the last end cable...like on a wire there are 5 molex so 4 are sleeved just the last one isnt
which isnt much of a problem.

will be posting the occt results here after i get the computer runnng

the psu is not for 8k..
more then that
there were two models
the 90 sar one wasnt even sleeved this is the better ALUMINIUM version of it.
nah just kiddin
i got this for arnd 450 around 9-9.5krs
and hdd for 310sar around 6-6.5k
