Story:
One day I was doing all the stuff what I do regularly (Job), when my cousin called me and asked for a meeting right away. He wanted to build an Enthusiast PC. I didn't take him seriously and made him the list of PC specs with all components. Few months passed, later he contacted me again while I was doing the typical stuff I usually do, regularly, and asked me to plan a weekend with him at my place for a sleepover. I said fine I could use a boys’ hangout for a change. Saturday Night he came to my place his car trunk full of all those PC components! I was like WHAT!!! he said I got almost everything what you told me to buy (Except 6th gen core i7x Chip and Chassis). Few items are imported. Others are bought from local Market.
So that weekend was one if the best I had in my recent memory. Building an Enthusiast PC of this level is an experience.
Now Here are the Specs:
1. Intel Core i7 5960x
2. Asus Rampage V Edition 10
3. Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR4 64GB (8Gbx8) 3200Mhz
4. Zotac Gtx 1080 Amp Extreme Gpu
5. Corsair AX1200i PSU
6. Cooler Master Trooper Full Tower
7. Zotac Sonix PCI-E SSD 480GB
8. Cryorig A80 Water Cooling for CPU
9. Corsair Dominator AirFlow Platinum LED Fan
Pics
Few Benchmarks
First the 3D Mark
The SSD Test
Zotac claims the read speed can go upto 2600 but max i got is 1761. If anyone can tell me how can i improve it. I have installed its drivers and all. But i cant help it.
I hope you guys enjoyed it as much as i did. It took us 5 hours to finish off everything. Benchmarks will be posted soon.
Future Upgrade
1. Changing cpu to 6th gen x seires as he couldnt find one in PK.
2. 1080 SLI or if we get our hands on the mighty Titan X pascal anytime down the road.
3. Corsair Carbide 780T Chassis.
