yup
unless u dnt get ur hands on a gud i5 mobo (gigabyte p55 udl3 or sabertooth p55 from asus) n i750 with ddr3 rams like gskills ripjaws (under 100$ kit) which r much better than corsair 1600 ... but still going from quad to low end i5 i dnt think that will be in my plans ppl like me will most likely skip i5 (1156) ... n go to 1336 in 2010 ...
khair in the end its all about money ... i sold giga added few bucks n bought this beauty ... n in that much money i could have never bought i5 (even after selling giga+q6600+ram) ...
khair usman bhai bios is very very complex ... im getting a tutorial on this
so many options to play with ... n one thing ... temp have dropped significantly also the vdroop etc is brilliant ... cpu 8phase ram 2phase design is really a boost im booting at just 1volt (effectively 0.9volts) ... which is i think brilliant for a 65nm ... ya tou mera q6600 is nbot 65nm or mobo is too gud LOL
overall pretty impressive n who wana go for xfire once sli hack is avail ppl think beyond i hope soon ill be able to do 260gtx sli on this baby (borrowed 260gtx )

Just a question Opethian. That mobo must have cost u alot. Would it have been better to get X48 over P45 since X48 is high-end chipset like X58?

@syavash the x48 is the best u can get with lga 775
the rampage extreme is available for 20k..so this must have been cheaper then 20k..hell even 18k because the msi x48 platinum is there.

well how much it costed me ... well susman its pakistan ... things here r not that cheapo ....
n y not x48 ... well rampage was very very xpensive ... n zaitron once sold his at a very nominal ... but khiar mine is quite nominal ... bottom line its more than the price of any p45 mobo out there ... but less than rampage ... shipping + shipping etc kay saath 17k tak para hai ... but it worth every penny ... n i preffered p45 cause ist of all no x48 is avail in that range especially NO ROG mobo ... n i dnt like msi ... 2ndly x48 runs very hot ... n overclocking it is a big problem ...

17k is also a good price for this amazing mobo..do oc that q6600 to 4.0ghz
plus man u have an amazing chip..1 volt damn..
i also saw once u did 4.0ghz on just 1.35 volts..i am only able to do 3.6 on that voltage..
