Thanks bro, yeah the graphics amplifier option is awesome and really future proofs the hardware for the next few years. As for benching, I'm not really familiar with all the benches. Is 3D mark safe for laptops? Like it won't tax it too much right? I'll post it soon. Price of the laptop was $1600 with tax and stuff. It came with Windows 10, factory installed. No issues whatsoever....for now :)

Man, nothing matches Alienware when it comes to gaming laptops in my opinion. They just look so perfect.

Congrats on the purchase.

So guys, I've used this monster for 24 hours. Here's my thoughts.

-you won't be needing a graphics amplifier anytime soon....I've thrown Fallout 4 and Farcry 4 on this thing so far on Ultra settings. This thing punched right through them at 60+ FPS.

-Windows 10 is DEFINITELY not recommended!
The boot times on SSD took over a 2 mins. Nvidia control panel was missing features. the sheer amounts of crashes and bugs in it is just ridiculous. Plus there was a weird YELLOW tint on the screen...it just wasn't getting fixed. It's fixed now, went back to Windows 8.1 @Dark Sith

The dock itself costs 30k+, so it makes no sense buying that + the laptop you already bought + a gpu + it defeats the purpose of portability.....

the graphics amp is a great option for future proofing yourself. I mean, I would hate for this laptop to be obsolete (in gaming) in the next 2 years....so the graphics amp is an option to pump more adrenaline into this.

After 2 years, what would you prefer:
+ By selling your current alienware and adding a bit more cash, you get new gen stuff, better laptop, better gpu/cpu/chipset/increased battery/probably slimmer overall better value for money and not no mention the same portability
+ By buying amp, you pay for dock + gpu (this will get easily to 1 lac territory), you loose portability and the the new gen stuff you could have had by going with the first option.

I'm not criticizing or anything, I may be wrong.
