Yeah you are right. Thats actually the idea behind windows 10 future updates and builds. They decided to continue to make patches or updates so they have taken away the option to stop or hide windows updates in windows 10

Can we do it like windows 7 or 8 where it notifies about aval updates and you choose which ones to download?
I was not able to find this option in windows 10.

So you are going to stop services related to windows updates. I wonder why they not providing us to stop or let me choose kinda options

cause windows 10 is their final windows and they will just keep updating it instead of releasing new os from now, but you can update windows anytime by just starting that service again :)

There hasn't been a complete overhaul of Windows ever since the move from Windows 98/ME to Windows 2000. The underlying architecture has remained the same for the most part.

So I turned off the updates and made sure that I don't login using my Microsoft account and so far I haven't had any problems.

Highly doubt that, MS will never do that. First I thought Redstone will be whole new windows but it'll just be a major update for Windows 10 just like 8.1.

Hello
I have 2 problems related to windows 10, I hope you guys can solve it...
1, When I login, the wifi is working. As soon as I go to google chrome, the wifi logo disappears and appears LAN logo with a red cross. Nothing fixes it. I have to restart the pc to get it working again.
2, And when I try to restart, it stays there on the blue screen with restarting page. A minute later, BSOD appears, declaring driver power state failure.
These 2 problems are giving me migraine and I have loads to do...
Kindly help..

try changing IP as it might be IP address conflict.

I've the WiFi issue too, simply turn it off and turn it back on. That should work.

Use PAX Masters Drivers for the Creative X-Fi Xtreme-Audio. I'm also using them.

Updated Drivers Suit will arrive as soon as the Win10 Drivers are released by Creative.

    You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.
