For Honor PC 4K vs PS4 Pro.
The fact that the Pro is being compared favorably to an i7 + Titan X combo is an extremely impressive thing. Once more companies start putting dedicated Pro time, I expect Pro (and Scorpio) optimized games to get even more impressive.
well I was telling my cousin in Dubai to buy one from Souq.com but he said they sell all faulty stuff and shit..AFter it I saw their reviews and all were bad..So I finally bought a Pro from Dubai. Cost me 45.7k and I think it was worth the price in the end

I'll summarize: PC at 4K while using a cutting edge i7 and Titan X Pascal (a $1000 setup) is naturally better than the Pro, they're commenting on how well the Pro version handles itself in comparison.

Way to misinterpret the findings.
The Pro version has no visual refinements over the base PS4 and it cannot match the visual quality of the PC version maxed out. Its a simple resolution bump.
The Titan X combo is used for native 4K, all the bells and whistles intact AND at 60FPS to boot, which is a game changer. I was blown away by how visually stunning and buttery smooth the beta was. Putting the specs in context like Pro version even comes close to that experience is funny dude
The only favorable aspect is that DF considers this to be the best 1440p-sub-4K looking result compared to native 4K. Thats about it. This makes the base PS4 version look more impressive with similar graphics settings and frame rate output as the Pro if you are still on a 1080p display.

You need "favourable" comparison with monster rigs to feel better about Pro but when faced with facts you grow salty yourself

A $399 machine is being compared favorably to a $1000 setup, don't worry I'm sure ur PC can get 2K or something at adequate performance too.

yeah, lets not bullet point the fact that they mention 30fps has input latency and that running at 60fps the difference in gameplay is "staggering"
lets also not point out the fact that you dont need a Titan X setup to run at Pro levels at 60fps.
dont worry man, maybe the next Pro console or boost shenanigans can actually give you a game changing experience, for now enjoy the "favourable" psuedo 4K experience but be sure to stand a bit farther away from your TV and squint to get even more favourable results

sheesh chandoo, i know you need all the pixels you can get to justify moving to pseudo 4K but this constant need for misguided validation comparing your $399 Pro to uber rigs is getting kinda sad now

I was going to get it from Souq but then my cousin found out that it wasn't available there. They were listed around 43-44k on Souq. My cousin instead just went to Sony Center and got one from there and it cost him 45.7k. It was cheaper and the Pro works perfectly fine. I also have 1 year warranty for it which means I can send it back within an year if there is some issue with it.
[MENTION=26]Chandoo[/MENTION]: I have played For Honor on Pro and dude, it looks gorgeous. The IQ is very clean indeed and sometimes gives the impression of a pre-rendered movie in cutscenes. Although the game in itself was disappointing to me.
Yeah, I heard the game has a better than expected SP campaign but doesn't seem like there's enough content to justify a full price purchase. At this point I have all my chips waiting for Horizon. Can't wait. Then a month later MASS EFFECT !
