it will never make sense to ignorant people who don't have proper knowledge of technology and tries to justify somthing just because they own . FYI i own a Gaming PC and a Ps4 i can debate better abt this than u ever can dream of

TV is for joe's Monitor is for Pros

go play on 50MS TV and say its super smooth i dont feel 30fps on 4k n motion blurr etc plzzzzz say it ROFL.

Moving on. Before Horizon, finishing up on Rise of Tomb Raider on Pro. Game looks amazing and is serving as a great appetizer for HZD.

I played the 360 version of this game when it came out and lol this is a 200% turnaround over it, not that the 360 version was any slouch. That game was AMAZING for its hardware, Nixxess did not cut any corners.

RoTR offers 3 different modes actually.

There's a 4K mode which runs the game at 2160p at 30 FPS. Frame rate is mostly solid 30, it just drops a frame or two in the geo thermal valley location.
There's a 1080p "Enriched" graphics mode, this locks the game tight at 30 and has graphical effects increased to the highest equivalent on PC.
There's a high frame rate mode, which basically unlocks frame rate and tries to reach 60 FPS. It doesn't stick to 60 solid, mostly you'll have it hovering between ~45 to 60 depending on what's going on. However, with this all graphical effects are dialed back to OG PS4. Even 4K mode (besides increased resolution) seems to offer somewhat higher quality textures over this.

Sorry to interrupt your ongoing discussion, but i need some advice one of my relative is coming from USA and i am thinking about buying Playstation from USA(as it will cost less at 399USD) anyways i have few questions.


1: is it wise to buy Playstation pro from USA(the games i am going to buy in Pakistan will they work?


2: I dont own Playstation 4 this is going to be my first so is it ok to buy Playstation Pro? I have 1080 Tv and yes i will upgrade in future and buy a 4k Tv in a year or so.


So what do you guys say should i buy Playstation Pro or should i buy Playstation 4 slim or any other regular version, as i said i will buy 4k Tv but in a year so please help me decide, as my relative will be coming to Pakistan on 5th Mar time is short lolzz.

wAnxTa already covered it, but just to reiterate.

1. yes, games are all region free, the only thing you'll be locked with is region DLC for that game and whatever region your PS4 account will be.
2. even for a 1080p tv, if this is your first PS4, Pro is the better choice. If you're going to be upgrading to 4K anyway, it's an even easier decision.

The Division has been patched to 'native' 4K. Probably using checker boarding but damn, huge improvement. No loss to performance.

regardind the Ps4 pro .. u can open its top head without voiding its warrenty ? anything like that ever head ?

someone is selling for a good price just wanted to confirm mayb i would sell my ps4 slim n get the pro

seems like it, there's no 'void warranty' sticker if you're just opening the lid to clean out the vents.

This is great news for people who want to clean their PS4 Pro from time to time. The entire top protective shell is not held together by any screw, you just need to carefully un-snap it from the main body of the console. Removing the top protection gives user full access to cleaning entire fan.

This was shown in the official Sony PS4 Pro teardown video:

And confirmed again by iFixit during their teardown:
- "With the beast on its back, the opposite panel pops off after some prodigious prying—but no "warranty void" stickers!"
- "While you can't remove the fan, you could certainly clean it from here—maybe that's why we're granted this non-warranty-voiding access zone."

It was sort of needless I guess, kyooki yahaa load shedding to hoti nahi :p so it's not like your device might receive voltage spikes or shut down unexpectedly :p

still better safe than sorry.

    I have a PS5 but I am not satisfied with the experience. I am currently saving for a 4080 64 GB rig soon. Bit will wait for Pro if performance improves. This gen has been so bad I don't plan on buying consoles anymore for AAA gaming.

    Consoles were my main platform ever since Atari 2500. But now I think it's not worth it as PC especially with DLSS deliver far smoother performance. AW2 on console didn't even had ray tracing and ran below 30fps. Similar issues plagues DD2 on consoled.

    Just downloaded my first legit digital PC game on GoG at a discount of $8: Two Point Hospital. The same team behind Theme Hospital Two Point Studios now part of Sega. And I am having more fun than most recent AAA games except of course BG3.
