in defense you guys are comparing very very very wrong things " CONSOLE is only made for gaming" PC isnt made only for gaming it is beyond that, and people who use it that way know it.
ofcorse if u dont own a pc and u just want to play games console will be first priority but people who hate gamepads like my big brother they cant stand console they want keyboard n mouse
in tht regard its matter of preference
but
PC ISNT JUST FOR GAMING is somthing u should keep in mind before even comparing the two.
Yes, of course. But we are comparing just the gaming capabilities. I don't have a desktop PC at home (anymore). Cellphones/Android TV/Tablets for the general use and my office laptop for dev needs. But for argument's sake, we are comparing just the gaming aspects of it.
Of course not, but that's a debate for console's exclusives, not affordability.
In case of ps4 vs pc Pc is clear winner no point of debate as even on 1080p games are way very sharp and there is no comparison for feel of 60 fps which is just non existent in consoles
THIS GEN Pc is the winner in offline play
online play is a different story
lastly the most anticipated FFXV has frame pacing issues with ps4 and pro(the main point of console is optimized gaming)
Digital foundry has recommended xbox one version over ps4 in this regard
Well, some people value games to a level where skipping on exclusives is not an option. A decent display can emulate the 60FPS feel (I know real 60FPS and smooth motion are not comparable, but that's the best solution if you want that feel on consoles). Regarding FFXV, having played both versions on the kiosks, I prefer the sharpness the PS4 version offers. Smooth motion hides the frame pacing (which is again, occasional) but nothing can hide the immense blurriness of 360 version. Given the landscape of FFXV's world, it's all about distant vistas and beautiful horizons. And yes, I want this game to come out on the PC (which might happen).
Plus the $60 YEARLY subscription for online play.
This build will outperform PS4 with significant gains in most games. Might be on par or slightly lower in BF1, I can't find benchmarks for equivalent hardware at Medium settings (which is what the PS4 runs it at).
$350
If you already have an old case and PSU, you can build this for <$300 (the GPU does not require dedicated power input).
True about the $60 annual charges, but that's less than the cost of electricity I'd pay to run a rig (at least here lol). Holds for PS4 also so I give you that.
I've been so out of touch but the G4400 looks fantastic. What do you know then, the PC is catching up in terms of affordability.
I'll PM you so that I can work out a proper build based on what's available. Looks like I might play Forza Horizon 3 after all, without an Xbox lol.
