I also had the same problems so i bought a range extender Tp Link Re450 connected it with ethernet and disabled the wifi on ptcl router. Now, i have increased range, stable connection and bonus 5Ghz also. Connected my NAS and android box with ptcl router by ethernet and now everything works smooth.

Nothing beats ethernet-based repeaters. Wifi-based repeaters aren't exactly the most stable (unless you dole out some $$).

Trouble is - in my house, I can't run an ethernet wire from the ground to the first floor.

Browsing seems fine but the packet loss in games is all over the place and speeds are affected too.

Salam everyone

Just wanted to know if anyone here's been playing Warzone (PS4) and having issues with packet loss? Ever since the game dropped I literally can't play it on my 8mb dsl connection because of ridiculous (usually minimum 40% extending to even 70% and higher sometimes) packet loss. It dies down a bit once there's less than 100 people alive but it's still there.

If I'm playing through my hotspot the issue goes away albeit the ping is a bit higher but that's understandable, overall though obviously you'd prefer playing on a wired connection for the best experience possible which isn't currently the case in my situation. I've tried setting up DMZ host to get an open NAT but that still does nothing in regards to the issue and I know others who play on PTCL but don't have this problem. I've also tried messing with the dsl modules but that doesn't do it either. Is there any solution at all on my end?

Worth noting that this packet loss thing doesn't happen in other games like Apex, Fortnite, Battlefield etc.

I have got a ONT related question guys... I have noticed that my "working voltage" under Optical information has started to fluctuate it used to be 3285 mV now it fluctuates by 5 mV going upwards to 3290 and then coming back, is this behavior normal? Also my YT streaming is kinda trash, I get full speed on local and EU servers but for some reason my YT streaming is trash. Any ideas what might be causing this? i hardly get above 0.6 Mbps on YT and it fixes automatically makes me think it's some sort of bandwidth issue but then again if i speed test my speed is normal. Any ideas?

You can set it up on an OpenWRT router but you won't get optimal results since the ONT itself is still doing the routing and traffic shaping.
