Actually I pulled it out a bit (out of that white plastic sleeve type thing that they install on the walls) and it won't go back in. And there's no way to access its other end. I folder it and put it back in. Hope that's not a problem.
Can you post a picture?

See the loop? It's basically folder in.

I'd advise showing it to the config guys if and when they come to check on the connection.

I'm no expert, but not sure if it's a good idea to fold / bend fiber cables like that.
Thankfully it's just a patch cord, not difficult or expensive to replace and installation guys usually carry a few extras in their bags.

Will do, thanks.

Why isn't this the default?

Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
Because some level of error correction is required on DSL connections.

FAST is fine on healthy lines with good stats since they generally have a low amount of errors, but they can't have it on all lines by default since quite a lot of PTCLs old lines are absolute shit and most people don't care about gaming or the extra 20 ms latency.

This is latest stats of my 6mb DSL Connection, wonder If my copper DSL connection would handle the "Fast Path ON" feature.

PTCL Disclaimer:
Switching to “Fast Path ON” disables Interleaving. While we do not recommend this to be Fast Path On which reduces your ping time as it may do so at the risk of destabilizing your internet connection (reduced speed and disconnection).

Not these stats. The ones that appear on the modem settings page.

Called the exchange again today. "Hafta aik lagay ga". I don't blame them anymore. It's the locals who are responsible for this delay. He said the service would have been on weeks ago if this issue wasn't created.

If that happens, I might end up killing someone.

My internet right now:

Lmao your actual line profile is somehow higher than the attainable rate.

But, I've been having issues today as well. Download speed won't go above 3 Mbps. Complained yesterday, but since it's a weekend, absolutely nothing has happened.

Fluctuates wildly. When I pick up the phone it's noisy. Then once the internet disconnects (always does), the noise goes away. Then when it tries to sync again, I can hear weird noises in the phone lol. Like old modems dialing.
