i want to ask when you receive calls from abroad on your ptcl number why the caller starts receiveing spam calls ? usually chinese spam calls anyone has that experience? please share your experience and it is because they have access to our call data because of Chinese equipment? or someone is selling our call data? Alhamdulillah got 20 Mbps PEEtcl VDSL.
as always, apni luucchh dali he in PEEEtcl walo ny.
i ordered on 24 April 19, and they immediately shifted my line to 20Mbps on purana shitty adsl.
i got crappy connection, 2-3 din to net chala with DC after every 2 mins, but then it stopped working.
snr dipped to -1 lol :laugh1::laugh1::laugh1:
they sent the superman, line man for configuring the INTERNET... wow
anyways, he just gave me the box and said bhai laga lein is ko.
long story short, they configured it over the phone and took 20 mins cause net guy couldnt assign ip.
during call he kept on asking me to PRESS 1 jub call ay, so typical of them
end per i saw my connection is 15 Mbps, not 20. he said jub hum VDSL daaal rahy thy us waqt hum ny nahi dala 15 Mbps connection.
i said i have to pay for 20 Mbps why not give me that?
he said hamary pass 15 he and then 25. i said why not give me 25 instead? he said, us sy apka bill barh jata
i asked to 15 me bill kam do gy? he said ap kuch dino me 1236 per call kar k 20 kara lena, i asked him to abi kar do bhai, he cut the call and us k bad exchange number is busy, as always....
any seniors with knowledge pls can u assist me what to do now?
i even asked the line man to renew the patli wali taar which connects to the copper wire, he said mery pass or nahi he isi per chalaen.
i asked him k new daba hota he VDSL ka i think to connect the wire, he said me bhool gya bad me la don ga.
what should i do now?

which daba are you talking about ?
and both 20mb or 25mb have same rates i.e 3250Rs. just call 1218 and ask them for package upgradation usually takes less than 10 mins to change
if ur VDSL stats are fine on that copper wire there is no need to change

im talking about that dibia they give, the splitter box. i dont use phone but its better to have it isnt it?

i think i got promotion for 20 Mbps but now that i m looking at their website, there is no 20Mbps available.

that DABAAA splitter is for phone not for modem if you are not using phone then directly connect wire with your modem without any splitter

i just called them and they are saying k sir apko 20mbps to hum offer hi nahi kar sakty on ADSL and now ur exchange has given u improved technology which u can not revert back to older technology.
they also said that promotion was only for adsl users. where 20 Mbps was offered at total bill of 3140 with all taxes.
now as my exchange has changed technology to vdsl there will be no promotion and my bill for 15 Mbps will be 3560....
is sy pehly i was using 10 Mbps at 3010 total bill..

they deceived me to change package, i confirmed it from him on call k bhai are u sure its available on adsl and will that be the full bill i will get if i take promotion, he said yes.
i have it all on call, but as its PEEtcl, it is useless.
i will suggest everyone here not to be deceived from these shitty people who have no deen no iman. i m so mad man...

So my lineman came and called 1212 and forwarded the request to Islamabad department and after that i haven't heard anything from them. He told me i would get a call but i didn't so far. I have requested again for the latency change, lets see what happens now.

Try calling 1212 yourself since that's the Service desk that handles DSL related requests and stuff.

Well at least PTCL has improved ping to EU regions. Getting 132 on EU in Battlefield 1. In-match is around 137.
Actually I'm getting half the speed on Netflix's Fast.com.
I have VDSL 25mb but get max 13mb on netflix speed that too when I'm connected on 182.181 IP. Other than that I don't get over 10mb even.
I can't stream max 4k bitrate because of that. PTCL and Netflix support are of no use in this matter.

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
