A few errors but not a major issue with my line and it has been this way and I never had any issues in the past. It is an issue with their congested exchange. Ever since they upgraded everyone to the new packages this has been a very major issue specially in the evenings and afternoons. I am only able to achieve full speed late at night or early in the morning and that is not always the case. Sometimes major packet loss makes it impossible to play a single match of R6. Been complaining to them since last week and they are not ready to fix this. They just lie to me every time saying that it has been fixed.

Turns out it was my modem that was causing the slow speeds and packet loss. Today the lineman came with a new VDSL modem and replaced it and voila I am getting full speeds now. He told me that due to some changes in their system the old modems were causing issues even though everything looked perfectly fine on the stats page and I was getting full speeds on some IDM downloads which was weird but now I am glad that this has been fixed.

I think it is the exact same model the ZXHN H168N. My old modem was only like 1 year old but the lineman blamed the modem and when he replaced it I started getting full speeds again. Not sure how it became defective when it was showing everything to be normal and as I mentioned earlier I was still able to achieve full speeds on certain sites such as Youtube even with the old modem but the browsing and gaming experience overall felt wonky which seems to be fine now. I am also confused right now.

You could use OpenDNS or Google's and they'll route you to the various CDN's closest servers (generally) instead of having to rely on PTCL's.

And for some odd reason, I can't tell a difference.

I've given up on DSL. When the next bill comes, I'll have it decreased using usage as proof (of it not being used).

Now only if they don't get congestion issues that plague basically every other user in an area that doesn't have the shittiest PTCL Lines. There is also the possibility that since they could be (potentially) so busy with soo many orders of Fiber Conversions/Installations that they'll take a while to even install the damn connection at your house... Who knows maybe we'll get GPON installed and up and running fine within 1-2 days if we're lucky.
