PTCLCares can't do shit.

DM Telegram on Twitter with your telegram username and IP address with which it doesn't work, that's how they got it working for me.

I'm still in contact with them, sending app logs so they can fix it.... Again.

Telegram is working on every network except Ptcl. Do you really think its a problem at Telegram's end and not Ptcl

At this point, I honestly don't know.
Even if it is a problem with PTCL, doubtful that their customer support guys know anything about it.

Telegram managed to fix it somehow last time, but upon asking them when it would be fixed this time around, they said it could take a few days more when I asked them yesterday.

Don't know if it is genuinely an issue on their end or if they're trying to negotiate with PTCL.

Recently PTCL has been disconnecting so much that in one night number of syncs were more than 300. My SNR is around 19.3 db if I use G.Dmt and it's around 12.9 db if I use ADSL2+. The problem is that with ADSL2+ internet never seems to work and it keeps disconnecting every 20 seconds after a sync. I have registered complaints but it is not getting fixed and sometimes the internet works fine with G.Dmt but it is not a permanent solution either. I have no idea why it is happening these days because the last month internet was so smooth it would go days without disconnecting even once.

Any suggestions?

Telegram works on PTCL if you use a VPN so my guess would be PTCL is blocking those servers.

Ptcl is being all mum and they say they didnt block telegram.

I dont really use it but whoever uses it, emailing is a good option. It is also possible that customer support doesn't know about the blocked websites that the engineers might have blocked.

Yeah they are replacing DPs here as well. They changed my old wire too as it was torn at one end. Now waiting for transform packages

I am still waiting for them to install this new thingy now. As my wire is directly connected to underground cable and in night due to dew my SNR drops and in the morning its back.. speed doesnt matter and no disconnections but I hate when my SNR drops lol

Same here, saw these boxes being installed on every pole, lol asked those guys is it fiber? They said yes, lol when i see it that was just copper wire.

Kher i already am on Fiberlink, ditched PTCL in July.

Wish they install FTTH and reduce their terrif further.

No man. Only Bahria is upgraded in pindi... they provide GPON there as well I am also desperately waiting for transformed packages to be introduced ASAP but I guess that would take time

I have finally requested for upgrading to 100 mbps. I currently use PTCL's 20 mbps on VDSL2 transform packaage... apparently, vdsl2 can support 100 mbps. Let's see.

P.S.: Iwanted fiber to home. I went to the local exchange in Hyderabad, and they said that the FTTH service ain't available anywhere in this region.

LOL PTCL personnel are really dumb. Whenever I tried ordering on phone, or in exchange that I wanted to upgrade my line to fiber. They said sir, you are already on fiber. And then I explained to them, I mean the wire that reaches homes...
BTW in which city do you live? I am pretty satisfied with PTCL in Hyderabad. They don't have FTTH yet anywhere in Hyderabad, but the VDSL2 supports upto 100 mbps (fingers crossed as to its performance, since I have placed an order for it )

What is ur location? And first research about VDSL 100mbps would run flawlessly or not.
I am on Fiberlink since july.
How much bill are you paying for 20mbps pkg?

My line stats are pretty good right now. But if I get disconnection issues with 100 mbps, will downgrade then back to 20. As per online articles, VDSL2 supports upto 300 mbps. Do tag me when u review 100mbps pkg.

FL is overal good, there arw a few disconnections due to some a**holes cutting the fiber, and few mints disconnections from backend sometimes, but overal i am satisfied.
Paid 24400rs for 20mbps for an year, means 2000rs/month approximately.
FL is cheap and high speeds are affordable, so a few disconnections are not a bad thing considering the rates.

i am geting stick of ptcl high pings on euro servers - its all over the place , there is nothing wrong with the lines even i dont know what the exact issue is , is any one else having ping issues with PTCL .
