There is definitely something going on. I had a very slow Internet this evening and i am experiencing disconnections right now.

In Punjab 19.5% Service tax added in principle amount and than 14% withholding tax. If price of 10 Mbps transform package is 2500, there will be (19.5%) 487 rupees service tax added first in 2500 and than (14%) 418 withholding tax on cumulative amount. So total package of 10 Mbpa including tax will cost around 3400.

The taxes you told , according to that , my bill is 4122 and according to PTCL guys' , they said 4025 total bill ?I am using 8Mbps package though

Wasn't the W.H Tax reduced a little? I was getting Rs. 420 before July, on July bill it is Rs. 378

Abhi bhi check ho jaye ga... go to dbill.ptcl.net.pk/PTCLSearchInvoice.aspx and then click on 'Print Bill' to get a PDF. Mere se rha nhin ja rha tha 16 MB with taxes ke jhatke ke bgher so I checked... :/

It wont work for me . As I installed DSL on 23July and in July bill its partial payment only. So I have to wait orfor August bill which will be generated on 15th sep

Sahi...do you use voice over that line? If not expect bill within the 4100 range...a friend uses 8 Mbps with voice and his bill was 4610 this month...the taxation breakdown is as follows:

Bill:
- Internet
- Voice
- Smart TV
- VAS
= Subtotal (ST)

Taxes:

Services Tax: 19.5% x ST = T1
WH Tax: 13% x ST = T2

Grand Total = ST + T1 + T2
