Yesterday at 2:30AM , suddenly my phone was dead and internet down , when I dialled PTCL complain helpline from my ufone number and gave my landline number , the lady on the recording said we are aware of the issue in your area and our technicians are working to resolve.

I was thinking is PTCL upgrading the wires in my area ? Any idea about or It was just a downtime?

You actually might need a static ip for that you know.

Those packages are a total ripoff 10k for 100gb data and they sell them as corporate packages , no static IP for home customers it's just a sham to drive people away from issues, they know no body is stupid enough to pay those prices

Kindly tell me what should i do i was using ptcl 12mbps from last 2 years on copper i did nt face any frq disconnection or connecticity issue but last week my phone line suddenly dead and after worked on the line am facing huge frq discontion even on 4mb ps

Not for ptcl. As I have mentioned before their good pings on i3d.net are random and not intentional. Have spoken to that guy Martijn about it.

Congratulations. Static ip might help because they can then just advertise that ip to Omantel which tw would more likely agree to than all of nayatel, fiberlink etc. Let's see currently in talks with fiberlink about our problem

As I said it's retardedly expensive to get a static IP on nayatel. You need limited bandwidth extremely expensive corporate connection for that

Experience slow browsing and it was almost dead yesterday. I think the submarine cable issue still has some juice left.
