Both Move and Kinect can be really fun party attractions.

All the negative reviews are holding me back from buying a Kinect. Another fact is that my room is small There is only 2 meters of space between the PC and the bed, and its arranged in such a way that I won't be able to stand in front of the Kinect and it'll cover me whole

Sure. Its awesome. But lets talk about the games....or maybe not.

They do actually. Maybe you should've given Wii a chance too. Or just check how Rock Band games are doing.

Well yeah, it does need a LOT of space. Doesn't work in confined spaces.

I've given Wii more playtime than Kinect really. It felt quite lame honestly. In fact, Wii was the reason I wasn't very positive about Move AND Kinect. I tried Move and it was awesome, I've got both Start the Party and Sports Champions for it and it's not boring even after one month of regular gaming. I was VERY pessimistic about Kinect as well but last night I realized it worked better than I had anticipated.

So far, no pirated games on Kinect but that'll change probably.
Wait a bit and perhaps prices may fall too. No real "killer app" to get it for immediately.

All the kinect games are available for download , you can just download , burn and play them and they'll work just fine as they don't have the ap 2.5 protection in them.

Dude, I read people's complaints about some games not working after dashboard update. The reason why I haven't updated mine yet.

the only games that won't work after the dashboard update are the ones which have AP 2.5 protection in it , like fable 3 , nfs hot pursuit , ac brotherhood etc .

So far all the kinect games that I have tried have no AP 2.5 protection in them.

So you're saying that we can get Kinect working on the old dashboard?
Or you're saying that to play Kinect games, we have to sacrifice playability of AP2.5 games like AC, NFS, etc?

to play the kinect games you have to update to the new dashboard but after updating you won't be able to play the AP 2.5 games until LT+ comes out.

Oh no! Not a single Kinect game makes it into the top 20 in Japan

Latest weekly software sales figures that not ONE title for Kinect managed to make it in the top 20 for Japan. Just so you get an idea of how bad this is, the game ranked in 20th position sold just over 8,000 units. Although there was some 'bright news' as sales of the Xbox 360 tripled to just under 8,000 for the week. LOLolo
