They are
The English of many of these "policy guys" is horrendous - I'm not surprised this is happening with you, because these kinds of inconsistencies are all over the country (and not just with telcos). The SMS screenshot says "midnight on 14 October" - that means when the clock strikes 12 AM on 14th, that's when it expires - but the app says 15th - which is one minute before the midnight of 15th October, as per the call center agent... I am not surprised. These guys need a lesson in English.Telenor did a Zong to me today. I was using Telenor Djuice weekly offer of Rs. 100. I used to check resources, balance and validity date on My Telenor app. And I was renewing my offer continuously on last date of validity and had around 16 GB data in resources.
In current update (released on 1st Oct) they changed validity presentation without informing users. Validity of my offer was showing as 8th october and I needed to renew my offer today. And when I renewed my offer today morning, in My App only current offer was showing and all old data was disappeared. Upon inquiry Telenor representative told me that my validity date was 7th october. When I told him that my validity in My Telenor app was showing as 8th october. He replied that 8th october was mean 11:59 PM of 7th october. I said if it was like that why were you guys were even mentioning 8th of october. There was no need for that. Just write 7th october midnight. And he was like "sir its company policy to mention validity like this".
Their validity on My Telenor app is still contracting with their *999# validity. And I have lost 16 GB due to this. Check below

Heck, even though Telenor's website is generally much better than the other operators' websites, their English is still horrendous in places.
I've noticed Mobilink gives me 8-12 Mbps on average. It's been ages since I last used Zong, but I think they, too, gave similar speeds when you're not standing in front of the tower - so this basically means nobody's giving you better speeds in normal conditions (but somebody else will have to chime in for Zong). Telenor's 4G coverage in Islamabad/Rawalpindi is horrible (despite having their HQ here).No. I always get 30 Mbps at D Ground area in Faisalabad. Elsewhere it remains around 10 mbps

StrikerX - in theory, they are trying to reduce your reliance on 345 (as in, use the app to subscribe to offers etc.), but the PTA stats seem to indicate otherwise haha.
