Technically it's not 4G+, if the bands aren't aggregated.

If they're running 4G on 900 and 1800 independently, that's a huge waste of spectrum. They can easily get 20 MHz 4G+ (15 MHz B3 + 5 MHz B8).

20 MHz 4G+ will definitely be on cards, for now they are just refarming 900 MHz for 4G just like Telenor refarmed 1800 MHz for 4G and than they aggregated both the bands. Jazz will also aggregate both bands some times later. But 20 MHz 4G+ with 15 MHz band 3 and 5 MHz band 8 will definitely gives strenth to their 4G in terms of coverage at least.

Mobilink 4G. To show that it's not a bed of roses everywhere, even in spectacularly good signal areas.

That's not to say the speeds are bad - it's just that I'm at Haathi Chowk, Saddar, and...this is what the place looks like (closed off walls, wires everywhere, so there's no way electromagnetic interference wouldn't be high).

Also, this is one of those dense localities so... Not much you can do when signals are bouncing off walls and whatnot.

Centaurus, despite having indoor antennas, is a dead zone for Mobilink in several places. If they turn off the indoor antennas, the speeds, despite the piss poor signals inside from the outside, would perform way, way better. And this is due to congestion according to the Mobilink guys...but then, why does it behave this way during low traffic times as well?

Radio waves. They don't work the way you want them to work.

Now, can somebody take a pic of Telenor's carrier-aggregated 4G and VoLTE proof as well, that's not either in DHA 2 Islamabad, nor in Gulberg?

mathematics is the language of universe. At the core all these internet things and data is mathematics. You need processing power for these things to work and for higher speeds you need latest and greatest equipment possible. And if you are not getting higher speeds even at low traffic time then maybe it is because of old equipment.

So I complained to Jazz about shit 4G speed and received a call from their technical guy. And can you guess what he said?

Jazz has only 3G coverage in my area. They are yet not providing 4G services at many areas in third largest city of Pakistan. And they do not has any timeline to fully cover the city. And I have to wait unknown period of time for 4G services. No. one 4G network My ass

And as per the roll out obligations I have to wait till end of 2019 to complaint to PTA for non availability of 4G coverage. Because Jazz got 4G license in july 2017. And company have to deploy 4G services to 80% District Headquarters withon 2.5 years.

No screenshot but was in Gujranwala last week (near Citi housing), was on 4.5G there, speed was pretty meh though. Was hardly touching 20mbps
