The best moment of the tournament was Diego Forlan being the best player as he was awarded the Golden ball. What a class act...Respect.
Anyways here's me at the final... and yes that is a genuine vuvuzela brought in from Africa and we had many more and made the whole crowd go wild. lol

cryuff has came out and criticized his team for anti football tactics, seriously they couldn't come out and attack spain i think if they would've won cryuff wouln't have said it.Apart from that Howard webb really sucked yesterday...

heard it's 140 decibals, and for reference at 160, your ear's membranes bursts!

anyways
yesterday was the only way holland could've won the game (by playing anti-football) and spain were well aware by this potential of theirs, and they themselves did proper good homework in theatrics!...
in the end a team wins which can score goals!

anyways the referee didn't sent off anybody for the fear of being embroiled in the center of controversy, little did he knew that 2 such offenses had taken place which had red card painted all over them (the kung fu kick and puyol's attempted hijack!) and hence became a source of controversy!

not the final i'll ever want to remember, but a lot was at stake since none had ever won a world cup, perhaps they should be forgiven!...

anyways the 3rd place match had 5times winner in them, while final had zero!

well said. 3rd place match was fun to watch but the final was too lousy. seriously i lost interest in this WC when Germany played pathetic football. who have thought a team that scored 4 goals a match on consistent basis will drop their knickers in front of the Bulls. it was just pulling my hairs and so did my all friends who were keen to watch that semi. didn't take much time for me to leave the room ... an absurd, substandard one sided game that no one will be in a position to watch, if one really wanna see quality game from both ends

Anyways it's obvious that Germany can come good in the next WC with this talented young team... hoping the backhander thing won't come into play.

But yeah, a pro nonetheless.

Germany and Argentina will be 2 teams to look out for come Brazil 2014. Both have quite a few very promising young players. The likes of Ozil, Muller, Messi, Higuain and all will be at the peak of their careers in 2014.

Italy too since they will have two strongest strikers, Macheda and Balotelli :)

I can't think of any other youngsters from Italy :(

Yes Spain made many records in this WC.

They are the 3rd team to win by scoring the least goals, 8. The record for least goals is 5 I think by Brazil.
They are the 2nd team to become the European and World Champions.
They are the 1st team from Europe to win the WC on foreign soil (non-European region).
They are the 1st team to lose the opening game and reaching the Final, and beating a team in that Final to become Champions in this century.
They did not reach even the Semi-Finals before this WC and they have reached the Finals and won it :)

England's performance at South Africa 2010 was officially their worst at a World Cup finals, according to Fifa.
The governing body's post-tournament rankings placed Fabio Capello's side 13th out of the 32 teams following their tame exit in the last 16.
Their previous worst placing was 11th in 1958 and this summer's ranking is seven places lower than England's showing at the last two tournaments.
Winners Spain were top followed by the Netherlands, Germany and Uruguay.
