Rams at 3000mhz , one thing which i dont like is the way its increasing the timings , will try to manually set to 15 15 15 35 @ 1.2 volts and see how it goes

well the bios is querky i guess its new that may be the case / asus mobos are a total different thing or it might be as its simple point and click , i have taken 2133mhz rams and just told the pc to oc them at 2800mhz bam done , with not a major change in cl values this is also like that but some how different - 3000mhz stable hein might be thats the sweet spot for the rams but the cl timings 19 are i think high.

the cpu is stable at 4.8ghz @1.40 volts will see if i can do above this / as its a work in process will tke time , rams / gpus / fans / cabling etc has to come .

Nice stats there, one of these days I'll get around to OCing my processor as well. For now, I've only OC'd my RAM. First I did it manually but then I tried XMP profile and it works fine, timings is quite good as well

What do you mean about BIOS? Are they effed up like ASUS releases or you're not really having any issues? What's your boot time to the Windows?

Yeah its well maybe irs me coz rhe bios is new .3000mhz is stable do not i dont have thst ram i am oc it .

Xmp profiles dont work..whixh is strange ..the profile is there maybe another bios will solve it.

Boot time is very fast ..and this is without fast boot

How fast is it? The only issue I'm having on my board which is due replacement at the moment from Shingtech is the boot time. Besides that, I'm not having really any BIOS issues or anything with this board and will stick with it until Maximus VIII Formula is out.

Sorry, I didn't get what you were trying to say about the RAMs? Which RAMs you got again?

Very nice, mate. I have received my remaining Amazon stuff about a week ago as well just haven't gotten around to putting it in the system or testing it yet.

However if you get a chance, please do let me know how long it takes to come on desktop from when you press the power button. Record time using countdown timer on your phone to get precise idea. I'm very curious about boot time on this mobo

Yeah, when it comes to high end SSDs any will do the job for your real world scenario unless someone pull another Kingston and do what they did with their V300 NAND chips otherwise it's not much of a difference from any high end drive.
Although I'm very happy to see Zotac leading in some of the benchmarks, I can't see reliable sources for benchmarks such as LTT, AnandTech and what not but I seeing multiple benchmarks so far of these SSDs and them leading ahead of 850 EVO is good enough in my book specially considering [MENTION=72]DSM1[/MENTION] is bringing them here officially with much cheaper pricing for anyone who would be importing 850 EVO in the past and ends up costing much more.

I'm using a Crucial 500gb SSD and to be very honest...its f*cking fast at boot without turning Fast Boot on. In my experience...I'm at the desktop in under 5 seconds. I literally had to double check that it didn't wake up from sleep...but a proper shut down.
