Idk what that means. Ellie's sexual orientation was established in LoU: Left Behind. So there's no surprise or "stand out point" with respect to that in LoU II.
I loved that there so much interaction between even the random enemies; they were calling each other by their names.
Hiding under cars is something you barely see in videogames, I'm not saying it's some amazing feature but it shows how attentive ND is to detail. It's little things like those that help with the immersion.
The thing is..this is the ONLY thing that bothers me. in TLoU they showcased smart enemies during the e3 reveal..but the gamifited versions were not so smart.
Undoubtedly the game looks phenomenal. It is perhaps the best looking, best gameplay, best narrative sequence, but how heavily scripted it is is still a question mark
and holycow some people in this thread are so childish..honestly
Did absolutely no one play Left Behind...? Ellie's sexuality is clear there; I don't understand the hate this trailer keeps getting. Left Behind was released, what, 4 years ago? LGBTQ culture wasn't as widespread then as it is now; ND still made Ellie a gay character. It's not like she just suddenly decided to be gay lol

there are tons of memorable gay characters in gaming but their sexual orientation is not so uncomfortably shoved to our face. this felt wayyyyy awkward and annoying. it will be very weak of ND if this is used as leverage to get people emotional.

How is this any different from a male character going for revenge because his wife/gf/sister gets kidnapped or murdered .. that's the whole point of Double Dragon
How is it supposed to be used as a leverage? Is a LGBT relationship supposed to be more emotional than a heterosexual one? Do you think ND is targeting specifically that niche audience? Do you think TLoU and TLoU: Left Behind had such a weak plot/reception that ND would resort to use this as a leverage?

considering ND thought it so important to included that in such a short trailer at such a major event, YES I DO THINK THAT.
look man, i don't know abt u but i m not the only one feeling this way. look at trailer's youtube comments, many feel it was unnecessarily shoved in and felt out of place. dont know what was going through ND as this is not their usual move.
no idea how that is a steal by wasting 3500 rupees per month and for games that are removed before you can finish them off.xbox gamepass is garbage with no local prices

Just finished Diablo 4 season in hurry to play Fallout 4 but gamepass released another banger in the form of Star Wars on April 25th. Gamepass is a steal man.
Is it just me or people lately seem to defend every bad game design decision made by the devs and try to give bullshit reasons for that? Or perhaps it's because I'm on reddit and discord
