Man, I could not figure out it whethet I was watching a trailer for TLOU or Days Gone, but then I hear those Revolver gunshot noises and I think, YEAP THIS IS TLOU!! Then the music and then the clickers. HYPE.

Look at that attention to detail. The bulging stomach muscles w/ the heavy breathing. This is a new bar in game technology (if this is all real time).
Also .. are we seeing Ellie's mom in a flashback ? The knife to the stomach is very symbolic.

Small Druckmann interview, seems like we're seeing all real time stuff. This is the next evolution of the ND engine used for Uncharted 4.
There was nothing in the trailer which made me think it might not be realtime esp after experiencing what a small studio achieved with Hellblade. Even the ghosting artefacts from UC4 are making a return. And they’ve totally gone nuts with the film grain.
Watched Gamersyde 1080p60 video on a 65 inch screen. If anything, cell phone would hide the artefacts

Although TBH its a well known fact I literally bought a PS3 just for The Last of Us. So, this is one case where it's justified

I absolutely how dark that trailer was..infact during it, I found myself questioning if it was even TLOU but the sheer brutality of it...sick sick trailer

Trailer was running on Pro hardware apparently, and some official screen grabs from the trailer. Some of these can easily pass for CGI/real TV show.
Outside of the usual resolution/filtering there will parity between the base version and Pro. Lost Legacy final build received severall changes compared to the initial reveal wrt lighting and shadowing which made it look a bit flatter in comparison. Might happen with this too.
They've taken graphical fidelity to the next level, in turn amplifying the effect of the brutality depicted in this trailer. It's actually disturbing in the same way that one particular scene from The Walking Dead was (for those who follow the series).
not gonna lie, but these are by far the most authentic animations, and especially facial animations I have ever seen.
all the people trying to turn this into "brutality against women", "trailer was too grim" , "no warning" , etc..they honestly should stay away from games rated M.. [MENTION=37876]TrueCoolGuy[/MENTION] would love this article : The Last of Us Part II trailer faces backlash for being too violent

Lost Legacy had absolutely no engine enhancements over UC4,it was a full length game developed in 1 year's turnaround time with the exact same engine. This is being called the next version of the ND engine by lead developer Neil Druckman, so essentially i'm expecting the same leap in tech that we had from Uncharted to The Last of Us on PS3.
Yep, favorite part is where the author said the violence in the first game's E3 trailer was acceptable because it wasn't against women
