Don't be too sure of your score on the benchmark. Look at my pc specs and I'm barely getting 60fps on maximum in game.

lol..spent the entire day yesterday playing loving every bit of it!!(although voiced NPCs would have been a plus but its still good for me)

lol ive never participated in any other ffxiv betas. I thought the open beta was to start on 15 aug

ahh thats why..no open beta starts on 17th, beta for those who had the code or those who participated in previous ones started on 16th

personally I'm dying to play this game but I have no idea how I'm supposed to pay for the subscription fee since I don't have a credit card.

Well, Compared to FF XIV 1.0 it's probably alot better. Did you play that?

^^Yeah, hundreds of thousands of people are taking part in the BETA an their servers are swamped. It's a promising start for ARR.

beta no more..Early Access has started..socho early access mein ye scene hai to what will happen when the game launches :O

^it happens with every MMO before release, dont worry we saw it when WOW expansions launch we saw it when D3 launch on GW2 launch and it will go the same way... I would recommend dont get into early access and buy the game at least after a month launch so you may be able to play it when you really want to ...else be ready to wait looooooooong in queue.

That's good news for SE

The wait will finally pay off and they can use this FF: XIV profit to go back to making games at their Japan Studio. They killed/halted development on a lot of project at their Japan Studio just to get this new MMO outta the gate.

bro thats a big question and you are over estimating this whole scenario.

MMO's are like golden goose they cant kill it at once but on other hand if they want to keep getting eggs they have to spend money/manpower and their energy to keep it alive...MMO is altogather a different ball game bro.

FF XI is their most profitable FF game ever. That was the main reason they decided to relaunch FF XIV after its initial failure. The director of this game Naoki Yoshida will keep working on FF XIV and its expansions but if the game succeeds in generating revenue, SE can finally concentrate on other projects. Not a lot of man power is required to maintain MMOs. During FF XI, a lot of projects were still getting made. Heck FF XI is still alive and well.
