Yeh, let's see. The launch is soon enough. It is the first big new subscription based MMO along with the upcoming Elder Scrolls Online.

^it happens with every MMO before release, dont worry we saw it when WOW expansions launch we saw it when D3 launch on GW2 launch and it will go the same way... I would recommend dont get into early access and buy the game at least after a month launch so you may be able to play it when you really want to ...else be ready to wait looooooooong in queue.

i pre ordered the game so early access is a added bonus for me and i guess i was trying to play at the time jab goron ki raat hoti hai which means EVERY person is playing...WoW had queues, yahan pe bhi queue system hai but queue bhi maxed out thi

The wait will finally pay off and they can use this FF: XIV profit to go back to making games at their Japan Studio. They killed/halted development on a lot of project at their Japan Studio just to get this new MMO outta the gate.

LOL Maintaining a subscription based MMO is much harder then any other genre. If it goes successful you can kiss SE new projects good bye,

The early access of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn has just started, and things are getting crowded with queues already visible on many congested servers. This isn’t really surprising, since preorders for the game were apparently through the roof, as shared by Director and Producer Naoki Yoshida in an interview on the Japanese website 4Gamer.

Adding to this, on Amazon USA there currently is a deal that includes the downloadable PC version of the game and $10 credit for $29.99, and it has immediately jumped to the very top of the best sellers rankings for games. Not many PC games get there. Add to that the fact that the player base is split over two platforms and that all those that purchased and played the original FFXIV get the PC version for free, and it’s quite an achievement.

thats obvious, it will take atleast 15 to 20 days to get things back in normal position.

we have seen this kind of rage fest on many MMO launches.

i can forgive them for that because the game is SWEEETTTT!!!

waiting for 3k3y prices to go down a bit bro, I might update my ps3 to OFW and start for this title too, but PC looks more of a wise choice for this game, I myself will play this title if I buy it on low settings.

thats a pretty long wait man..and a mediocre PC can run the game too..its superbly optimized so unless you are using a P4 you can easily play this game on a C2D

WHAT :O for real? my processor is overclocked though..and im running the game on max settings at 1920x1080!! no low sho wala scene uncle..as for gameplay, its more fast paced than WoW(or perhaps bit equal to it) which means its slower than GW2. using the typical target and attack system of old MMOs...class system is pretty diverse(switching between jobs etc although jahan tak i have played there is no Talent system, you get skill points which are used to increase your base stats)..world is beautiful, quests fun(main story quests are challenging too, yani like WoW you cant leave all the tanking and stuff to NPCs with 10 million HP, you gotta take the heat off of friendly NPCs otherwise they will die and quest fail but not too much on yourself) characters are typical final fantasy styled

Square Enix Temporarily Stopping Digital Sales Of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn launched today with server hiccups and long wait times to log in. Square Enix plans on expanding its server capacity, but in the meantime they are stopping sales digital sales of the MMORPG. You can still buy Final Fantasy XIV, but you have to get it in stores. However, I would still wait until these server issues get ironed out before visiting Eorzea. On a positive note, it sounds like those three years Square Enix spent retooling Final Fantasy XIV may have paid off since people bought the PC/PS3 game at launch.

not technically a pakgamer guild, since banday kam hain..but yes we few PG members who play WoW have a guild(created by Wolfy) called Faith..as for FF, there is hardly any player yet so no guild and GW2 mein we all pakistanis were part of another big guild(eMoa)

Thanks for the prompt response. I'm still undecided on whether I want to play FF or not but I'd like to know which server region you guys are playing so I know where I can find some people to group or play with. I tend to dislike grind and grindy games. I'm not big on lore but it helps if there is a sense of direction to the events in game. I wanted to buy the american version of the game but it wouldn't let me. I have yet to convince myself to play almost twice for the same game as Euro is more expensive than Dollar.

So which region is best for us, playing from Pakistan, US or Europe or Asia? If anyone has bought the game, which region server are they playing on? I tend to pick pacific time servers since it is easy for me to figure out their timings.
