Agreed. Still looking for the day when we can find bowlers like Amir and Asif again. Producing bowlers in our country isn't a problem but quality batsmen are.

But why are you singling him out? Umar Gul and Wahab Riaz cost us a lot more than this guy. Junaid and Rahat are mediocre bowlers as well. There is only one bowler who deserved to play the series and didn't and he is Sohail Khan.

Azhar is simply not captaincy material. Regardless, our recent failures aren't a captaincy issue. It's simply a talent issue.

Lol it's been the same story with these Akmals for the last 10 years. Fail miserably in Internationals, get dropped, perform like maniacs in domestic T20s, get selected for Internationals, epic phail again. The cycle repeats.

I thought Saeed made a bad choice by rejecting the Sethi proposal (Sethi and Ajmal have some differences because of Ajmal's ridiculing sethi when he was on the top). But After reading this interview, I am sure he can deliver. He is not afridi, He knows what he is saying. I hope Pakistan give ajmal a chance based on his performance.
